Variety are reporting that Dichen Lachman has been cast as a reclusive, ancient vampire called Izumi.

    I watch the BBC version ... Any one know who her Brit doppleganger is?

     I really like her, shes very versatile.

    I still haven't gotten myself to check this out. I loved the UK version (although still haven't seen S3) and the US version is mostly filmed in Montreal (some of it is just down the street from my current apartment actually), so I have ample motivation to do so... I just get annoyed with watching something that is so close to something else I've already seen (but with less attractive accents). I imagine it diverges at some point, but is it far enough into the season for me to not think of it as a clone?
