Supernatural - Interview with Rebecca Dessertine

25 May 2011

Recently, I sat down with Rebecca Dessertine (the author of the brand-new Supernatural tie-in novel One Year Gone) to talk about what it takes to turn a hit TV show into a novel. You can read our chat here and check out the novel for yourself on Amazon!

  1. I just got "One Year Gone" in the mail today and it looks good. It is the first Supernatural novel I will have read, but I figure it will be a good beach read in a few weeks and something to tide me over until September when the new season starts. I am looking forward to reading it. I pre-ordered the book months ago (March) and it came a day early before official release!

  2. I have read all of the novels, so I am definitely reading this one... even though the guys won't be together (which I hate)... It really makes a difference though having someone actually involved with the show writing it. I am hoping it will be great!

  3. I am about 3/4 through. It is Dean heavy and Sam lite with an abundance of Lisa and Ben. The original characters have more "screen" time than Sam. Sorta like the TV show. :-(
