There usually are a lot of talented actors nominated every year and for example last year Aaron Paul definitely deserved to win in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category.
No...I think it`s like last summer when Pinkner and Wyman had yet to decide how exactly to tell stories in the season 3...whether jump in one episode between the two universes or to shuffle the episodes (one settled over here and the other over there).
Uhhh... What? This interview is about the season 3 finale, it is recent, and he said "last week" he had this conversation with the showrunners where they said they haven't decided where they're going yet. I am struggling to see what argument you're trying to make here.
I think he said it like that on purpose (to stop that guy from asking questions about it) or it came out wrong. Because the writers know where they are going. In an interview for HitFix they`ve said that the series finale was set in the very beginning by Abrams, Kurtzman and Orci and some of the key elements in the show too. They know where they`re going but the way how to get there depends on Pinkner and Wyman and choices they make. Pinkner said that when they are writing about one thing they suddenly find a shortcut to stuff they thought it would take a very long time to get to. I don`t know why you are pointing out the "last week". I just compared this situation to the one they had last summer break. They weren`t sure how to tell stories over there with stories over here and they had to figure it out before the writing staff gets together. So now it`s the same thing. They know where they`re going but the details are up to them. For example I wanna be a famous musician. That`s like the series finale for Fringe ok? That`s my goal, but the way how to get there is up to me. I can`t just have a goal like "that`s the place I wanna get to" and dream about someone waving with a magic wand and all of a sudden I`m a rock star. It`s a one big jurney. And that jurney is full of troubles and joy and saddness and happiness. I hope you get me now.

Did I just hear him say the showrunners don't know what direction the story is going in? D:
ReplyDeleteThe Emmys are a joke - John Noble is an incredibly talented actor and should have won a couple of Emmys by now.
ReplyDeleteGreat interview and it's great to hear his accent. He seems like a great guy.

John and Anna deserve to win Emmy!
ReplyDeleteand we need more videos about Fringe is very difficult to wait for the start of the fourth season XD
i really hope he gets nominated at least, if not win... he really deserves it
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or are these new webcam both-interviewer-and-interviewee-look-at-the-camera rather fucking awkward.
ReplyDeleteIt sucks that the Emmys aren't awarding John and even Anna with nominations. It's ridiculous how over qualified they are!!!
