SEASON FINALE

“THE VAMPIRE DIARIES” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET)
“As I Lay Dying” (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

THE BOND BETWEEN BROTHERS — While Mystic Falls presents a screening of “Gone with The Wind” in the town square, Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) memories of Katherine (Nina Dobrev) in 1864 mix with the reality of Elena (Nina Dobrev) in the present day. Stefan (Paul Wesley) pays a terrible personal price for his attempt to prevent a tragedy, and Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) makes a deadly mistake while trying to keep everyone safe. More than one life hangs in the balance as the consequences of the sacrifice ritual play out to a horrifying conclusion. Steven R. McQueen, Katerina Graham, Candice Accola and Matt Davis also star. John Behring directed the episode written by Turi Meyer & Al Septien & Michael Narducci (#222).

    Like OMG...Sounds awesome. Wonder how much of a badass Klaus really is? And if what Damon said about keeping Elena safer than he can at the end of the day is all that it's cracked up to me???

    Everyone should calm down.
    Everything indicates that Klaus stuff is 2x21. Now from newest K.Williamson interview it seems Klaus survives to S3


    2x22 is "after all that happens" style stuff.


    I also find this bit interesting:

    Makes it sound like whatever Damon remembers is related to the current situation somehow.


    One thing I know: If this is something as lame as 'oh damon got bit by werewolf' I will drop this show.

    i think damon is bitten by a werewolve and it is hallucination ,....and damon may hurt elena mixing his memmory to katherine

    Starting to think that the title "As I Lay Dying" may refer to Damon, since it sounds like he's having some kind of hallucinations. On the other hand, he seemed ok in the promotional picture, so... Where does that leave us?

    Damon's never been able to distinct between love and obsession, so I worry deeply for what he sees in her. STEFAN! The man would give his everything to not only protect Elena, but those she loves most in the world. Oh, no I hope Caroline is okay.

    It seems bizarre that all the other characters would be going off to movies and picnic lunches in the town square when at least three main characters could be dead. That makes no sense at all. I really hope it's just an oversight. The CW have done crazy things with their descriptions before.
