    I'm starting to dislike Damon more and more after watching the last episode. There's only so much abuse of women I can take. Maybe he's the beloved character Ausiello was hinting at might die on the season finale or a little after. If a werewolf changes too close to him, I'm just saying.

    While I completely disagree with you(I find Damon one of the most compelling and complex characters in the show and Stefan The Jerk gets more annoying with each episode) , but I can comment on the chances of them dieing:

    you DO know that Damon is not just beloved, but fan favorite character.

    Killing him now would be the same as if BtVs killed Spike in only fourth season.

    Do NOT expect any of the trio to die permanently, as they bring the most viewers. :)

    He did tell Andy to leave... and generally if Damon tells you to leave.. then you leave. He's not implying hes after a booty call a bit later on.

    Im not pro violence against women but again, these guys are playing characters. Hes a 130 + year old Vampire Guy who loves a woman he cant have and the other is a sick psycho who never loved him. Hes in front of the line for 'has women issues'

    At the end of the day, Damon is gonna be the one to screw up the ritual because hey.. hes the fly in every ointment.

    First of all, that was Katherine that he shoved up against the wall. You can tell by her jacket, which appears 10 seconds later in that trailer when Klaus tells her "she has to do something for him". Beating up on Katherine doesn't count as woman abuse, being, you know, older, eviler and stronger than Damon.

    Secondly, Ausiello's whole "main character getting the axe" thing is about that actor being a Diva. Ian Somerholder seems well liked. And really, his character is far and away the fan favorite. Nobody even comes close to close.

    At that point, might as well wrap the series. Actually, you really can't continue this show without any of Elena, Damon or Stefan. The entire premise would be moot.

    theres no way they would kill damon off they might fake his death or something but even though we're disappointed in him for being so controlling its like the beginning of season 1 when we sort of hated him...there has to be balance we have to sort of like damon and stefan equally bc lately people have been leaning on damon heavily...so their just giving stefan some slack so ppl wont forget he's good too..think about it..but seriously the majority of the Vp.D followers LOOOOVE damon, so i dnt think that they would
