The news was reasonably expected as the series pulled in an average of 4.4 million viewers all season and ranked as either the #1 or #2 cable program on Tuesday nights. It's worth noting, however, that number's significantly down from the 7.7 million who watched when the show returned in January.
No official word has yet been given from BET.
UPDATE: I just spoke with co-star Coby Bell, who tells me he's been informed that the show has been picked up for season five. Even in the absence of a press release I think we can say The Game will return!
