Fringe - Interview with Wyman and Pinkner

14 Apr 2011

Wyman and Pinkner gave away some exciting tidbits regarding the final four episodes of Fringe Season 3. Here is what they said, via conference call (warning: minor spoilers).

The producers weighed in on two rumors: a major character death, and the introduction of a third universe. The first rumor is true.

"Somebody we love deeply will die," they said.

However, they made it clear that there are currently no plans to introduce a third universe.

Wyman and Pinkner also clarified that Leonard Nimoy will return in tomorrow's episode. They explained that after conceiving the idea of having William Bell return in Olivia's body, they called Leonard Nimoy to pitch the storyline. His response was, "I'm in."

When asked if they have an ending for the series in mind, the producers said yes, and that they have stories that would enrich the ending but don't necessarily need to be told. They have not spoken with FOX about setting an end date.

  2. I wish Nimoy was on board for more episodes and not only when he reads the script and agrees... I like the role of Bellie.
