Work It - Pilot Casting News - Rebecca Mader Cast

Lost alumna Rebecca Mader, who is recurring on ABC’s freshman drama No Ordinary Family, is staying at the network but switching to comedy with a role in ABC’s comedy pilot Work It. The multicamera project, from Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen, is about out-of-work car salesmen Lee and Angel (Amaury Nolasco) who realize that it is now a woman’s world and decide that in order to find work again and succeed they are going to have to dress as women to get jobs as pharmaceuticals reps. Mader, repped by Innovative and Mosaic, will play a bitchy and pseudo-sophisticate drug sales rep with a know-everything attitude.

  1. This has potential to be all kinds of bad.... I don't think there are too many successful series with men needing to dress as women that last long. As a movie I think it could be entertaning and funny for the 90 minutes.... but over 22 episodes? I guess Bosom Buddies did it, but it was so campy.I like the two announced cast members tho.... I am having a hardtime picturing Sucre from Prison Break in drag.....

  2. Hm. "Work It" and "Rebecca Mader"... there's a dirty joke in there somewhere.

  3. This reads like a paycheck pilot. It's quick cash for a week's work and something no one actually expects to get a pick-up.

  4. It does. Too bad since I liked Mader in Justice and LOST, and I enjoyed Nolasco on Prison Break and Chase (Ironic he played an escapee and then a Marshall chasing escapees).
