It seems like this show is gaining more credibility. David O. Russell did a pretty good job with The Fighter and Elwes was fantastic as Wesley in Princess Bride and Robin Hood. Let's just hope that the NBC hype machine doesn't mess this up (...Heroes anyone?)
Now, this is the first casting news that makes me feel good about the series! I can totally see him in the snarky role that is on all David E Kelley series.
Hopefully this doesn't go the way other NBC superhero show do. I haven't yet given up on the Cape, but it obviously isn't doing that well. Maybe this will fill the superhero void after Smallville is gone.
I think The Cape has been cancelled. I read on tvbythenumbers that they aren't even planning to air the finale... (But they said they will have it online)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteYep, we posted a few days ago that the final Season 1 Episode would be online.
ReplyDeleteNo official word from NBC but it's as good as dead with the ratings.
Darn. Now I'm going to have to give this show a 3 episode try.
ReplyDeletehad no interest in this before but now, with Westley in place I'm definitely intrigued!
