I won't lie. I miss the fun and craziness of seasons 1 and 2, but Children of Earth was great drama and suspense! I know they said there is no going back to the old format, but I like the MOTW on Torchwood. Bring on the Captain Jack!
Eh, I liked Torchwood enough in Season 1, but it only REALLY drew me in during Season 2 during the really intense arc surrounding Owen. Doctor Who gives me my fun British MOTW.
Russel T. Davies comes up with some weird and confusing stuff for MOTW. That being said, he does some wonderful work, but I really think he's at his best when he works on extended arcs. Like with COE.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
So excited! If S4 is anywhere near as good as S3, this show will definitely be one of the best I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteIs this just in America? Or UK too? x
