Update: 21:30 Both Forums and Gallery are currently down. We hope that the migration will only take a few hrs.
Update: 30th March Just to let you know that the migration to the new server will take place in 1hrs time. The forums and the Gallery will be down until the migration has been completed. We'll keep you posted here and via twitter.
Just to let you know that later today both the Forum and the Gallery will be down for a few hours whilst we upgrade to a more powerful server.We'll keep this post updated to keep you informed as to the progress.

ReplyDeleteWhile we're on the subject, there seems to be something up with the mobile page. The first page always loads fine, but hitting older posts causes things to get weird. Been like that for two days :(.

ReplyDeleteFrom one GoT fan to another... have you seen the new Khal Drogo photos I added to the gallery? they are also in the photo gallery announcement thread too. Jason looks so perfect as Drogo I doubt even his inability to act can ruin it!

ReplyDeleteWhile on the subject, in regards to his apparent inability to act, he supposedly won some sort of award recently:

The award is called the "Rising Star Award" and makes sense due to him starring in Conan and being involved in GoT (so it doesn't have to be a reflection of talent), but still. Maybe he just wasn't given the chance to show off his full range on SGA.
To be fair... just because he has been typecast in rather low brow characters that make him look like a bad actor... doesn't make him a bad actor. Besides... some adequate actors at best have made long careers out of playing a type or having a look. So he could clean up for year still....
ReplyDeleteNot sure what all your doing entails, but I had a suggestion for the gallery. In the posts on the main website, you go into a post with new promotional pictures for an upcoming episode. I liked how it was before where when you clicked on a picture it sent you to the picture as opposed to where we click on a picture and it sends us to the gallery of the same promo set.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion would be to have a link in the post to the gallery while if you click on the picture itself it takes you to the picture.
Sorry if this is what you're doing already or has already been discarded as an idea.
We'll look into things when the new server is up.
