DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - "Everything's Different, Nothing's Changed" - Paul Young stands in the way of Susan getting her much-needed kidney transplant; Lynette is furious with Tom when he passes up a lucrative job opportunity in order to continue working with Carlos out of friendship; Bree becomes concerned over Andrew's escalating alcohol consumption; and Gaby is shocked when Renee continues as planned with her neighborhood party after the tragic suicide attempt of one of Wisteria Lane's residents, on "Desperate Housewives," SUNDAY, APRIL 3 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

    I'm pretty sure she died, the only rather plausible explanation for a survival would be that her hand shook when she pulled the trigger and she only grazed her head, but that is way too far-fetched, and would take away all of the beauty from that homage to Mary Alice's iconic death.

    But even if she did, it was still a suicide attempt, a successful one.

    Not to mention that they said "suicide attempt" rather than just "suicide" because they're trying to keep people in the dark about it. But yeah, she's dead.
