Awesome news. Well done =)
ReplyDeleteThanks Karin, I hope people like it.
ReplyDeleteHow very intruiging... The Mosaic one especially. Is this something blogger have started to offer for all their blogs?
ReplyDeleteYep, it's a new feature they added today :)
ReplyDeleteI like Sidebar the best :)
Yeah. The sidebar one is quite cool. Sticking with the original layout though :)
ReplyDeleteYep, me too for now, although it's a nice change everyone once in a while :)
ReplyDeleteIt is. Also always good to see Blogger progressing their site as well. I'm a fan of it in general! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't decide which one I like more! Very cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz, I know, they are pretty funky :)
ReplyDeleteGreat news, indeed!! I'm always fascinated by anything blogger offers to blogs.
ReplyDeleteExquisite!
All the best,
Betty
Thanks Betty :)
ReplyDeleteI thought Castle was supposed to be on one of the new banners, didn't it win the poll for ABC?
ReplyDeleteWe've not released the new banner yet.
ReplyDeletevery cool!! I can't wait to experiment with the new ways ;)
ReplyDeleteYep, they are pretty fun :)
ReplyDeleteJust a quick question-- other than this page obviously how do I access the different templates? I see the customize page but they're not there :/
ReplyDeleteWe've not added them to the menu yet. They are still experimental.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to give people a look and to have a quick play.
To access them just add /view to the end of spoilertv.
eg www.spoilertv.com/view
and you should have access to the them all :)
So this is just for viewing? It seems in order to comment, it kicks you back to this original format.
ReplyDeleteYep, it's still just an experimental way to view the site. Hopefully
ReplyDeletein time they will add customisations, commenting and other things.
Its cool nonetheless, I like the Sidebar, and Time slide the best, but Mosaic will be cool if y'all start to attach images to all your posts.
ReplyDeleteAlso I love how it perpetually loads as you scroll, that is really cool, nothing more annoying than having to wait 5 more seconds to see more content Ha! Anyone else remember dial-up?
ReplyDeleteHa indeed. I remember my first 300 baud modem, I was so excited lol
ReplyDeleteYep, it's not something we do for text based articles, and short
ReplyDeletecasting news etc.
The Sidebar is very cool.
This is now officially the coolest blog on the Net.
ReplyDeleteI like how I can quickly see the number of comments, so I can quickly tell if anything new has been added to an item I'm following. Great job!
Ricky, I remember my kids using dial-up when I wanted to use the phone. We had it so hard back in those pioneer days. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHa, that's very kind of you :)
ReplyDeletethanks :)
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, now I find myself wanting to fling my phone across the room when it doesn't respond in like 0.5 seconds. Then I have to remember the old days. Some comedian said it best, "Geeze, it has to go to space and back, give it a minute!!!"
ReplyDeleteThey all have merit. Great that it oads quickly. Flipcard is fun.
ReplyDeleteHa yes, they are all pretty fun to play with :)
ReplyDeleteSo happy about the infinite scrolling!! Great idea :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it Poppy
ReplyDeleteI think I like flipcard the best. The way you can organize it by labels and authors is very useful.
ReplyDeleteSnapshot is going to be awesome for browsing the newest photos without getting bogged down in other posts.
Mosaic probably isn't going to work for SpoilerTV due to the large number of text only articles.
They all look beautiful! I just finished the unit on CSS/CGI/HTML in my computer science class and was excited to learn that the latest versions had just been releases. Do they allow the addition of your banners?
No, these a just experimental currently from Google. I suspect when
ReplyDeletethey fully launch there will be a number of Customization options.
Sweet! looks awesome :) Nice job!
