Can't wait! I loved "Peter" and thought it was one of the best episodes we've seen to date and it looks like this flashback episode will be no exception. As usual, the team behind Fringe looks like they've done an outstanding job in casting young Olivia and Peter. This show is just so brilliant.
Yes, it does (haven't seen tonight's episode yet since I'm on the west coast). And my face will hurt tomorrow because of that promo, but I really don't care!
The biggest question will be "what triggered this "flashback?" Last year it was Olivia seeing Peter's glimmer, however, this year there was no "cliffhanger" moment so what's going to trigger this?
not to sure exactly BUT we were getting a glimpse of Olivia's stepfather...they are bringing him into it somewhere, so maybe that has something to do with it..
OMG! This is gonna be a freaking awesome episode!! But as it answers some questions, it raises many more... why don't Olivia and Peter remember their childhoods..? Was it Walter's doing? Olivia crossed over before? Eeek! I just can't wait!!!! :P
Maybe now that they've slept together, they start getting memories back about the two of them, that Walter somehow supressed... However, Olivia has a photographic memory you'd think she would have remembered Peter when she first saw him. Maybe when shes's not able to cross him over with her Walter just chooses to supress the memory right then.
Well, it had been 20 years since Peter and Olivia "met" and I'm sure they never ever seen each other again and sometimes people do forget the people they have met, especially if it was only for a little while.
Except that Olivia has a photographic memory and as she said before she "never forgets a face". I think she blocked out everything to do with those drug trials, which is why she doesn't remember Nick Lane either even though they were paired up for it. I would agree except that she should definitely remember Walter and William Bell too and since she doesn't, I'm thinking her mind blocked out all of it to protect her. Anyway just my thoughts. But I could be wrong. I guess we'll find out next week.
I think part of it was the trauma and part of it was Walter's doing. As Nick Lane said in season 1, William and Walter meant for the children to forget; some did but some couldn't.
We already know that little Olive crossed over before and started a fire with her mind... (Btw, I can't wait to see her pyrokinesis ability. *waaaaaaaaaait*), but it seems Walter & Elisabeth plan to use Olivia to bring Peter back. Or maybe I've misheard this part.^^
:O *jaw droping on the floor* OH COME ON what the hell! This meant be the only time of the season I would pick Fringe over Supernatural AND IT HAD TO BE THIS FRIDAY! I'm pissed.
Looks awesome. I love Peter and Olivia. and PWAAHAHAH that hair on Walter oh gosh.. any hoo
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
