I completely disagree. ;) Only because you obviously didn't get the joke and over-thought this whole thing... But still, TNT is the only network that loves it some Supernatural lol
It's obviously not moving to TNT. I was joking, although I would love if it did. TNT is the only place that I regularly see advertising for Supernatural. In fact, I think they spend more money marketing Supernatural than the CW does, even if they only have reruns.
Also, I for one would not be excited about a JDM arc. John needs to stay dead.
OK People...If TNT was the only channel that loved Supernatural....we wouldn't be in our sixth season right now!!! CW didn't have to carry the show over from the WB but it did. No other network would have given Supernatural as many seasons as we've gotten from the CW. We need to stop hating & be grateful we still have a network airing first-run episodes and not just repeats.
I liked the tweet that came after it: "Got...my...mind...right...Will...obey...Sera...Will...never...hint...about...SPN...future...again...Please....don't...hurt...me...again...." :D Excited for this though, whatever it may be. :)
I have watched Supernatural from the day it aired the pilot and I have not missed an episode. Believe me, I know Supernatural. I'm not saying that John could not appear because he was dead. He did that in All Hell Breaks Loose - Part 2. I'm saying he NEEDS to stay dead. John's story line has run its course. To add to it would be detrimental to the series in my opinion. Plus, death on Supernatural is starting to be a big joke. If they want death to affect us in any way, the dead are going to have to stay dead. And yes, that includes characters that the fans love.
Aren't we all? Hey...thousands of SPN fans all thinking positive thoughts......we could make S7 happen just by thinking it.......kinda like in Hell House, but in a good way
This is worse than the 11sec promo of "Like a Virgin" !!! Is it a season 7 announcement or not ??? I need hard proof confirmation of CW before running in circles....
While I will be in full-on Flail-Mode if we get a season 7, please don't get your hopes up yet XD, he could be referring to something else. I don't want everyone to deflate into a pile of skin casings.
The CW/CBS/Showime day for the TCA Winter tour is Friday, so we probably won't get any confirmation/information until then. But if Jim is happy, then we'll probably be happy. Maybe it's a spin-off with Bobby and Rufus... or not. Still, good news is... good news.
My first thought went to a big reveal that's coming up! That he was referring to a seventh season didn't even occur to me until I started reading these comments. That being said, of course I would be ecstatic were it to be true.
Actually a spin off would make me way more happy... I mean, a seventh season is probably going to happen, so I'd expect it... but a spin-off, that would be unexpected. Not to mention an awesome idea.
I really, really hope they do bring John and Mary back for an episode or two. I need to find out what happened to them. They've told us John and Mary are not in heaven and Grandpa Campbell's actions lead me to believe that he thought she was in hell. (If he doesn't think she is in trouble, why is he so desperate to bring her back? Why not his dead wife?) I'm pretty sure Crowley was just stringing Grandpa along, but it would be nice to know for sure. I want to know that John found Mary and that they are together. (I can't imagine John leaving Mary in hell if that is where she is.) They need to clear up this story line before the show ends. The boys also need closure on their relationship with their father and mother. They don't need to be alive again to be brought back for closure. This is Supernatural, after all.
I recall a fangasm article that had a sort of interview with both of the boys. I remember Jensen saying that the writers have stuff lined up for both a Season 7 and 8 just in case. Don't count your chicken before they're hatched is all I'm saying. ;)
Apparently, Jim Beaver is denying that he knows about a 7th season renewal. Guess that means something else big and great is up on Supernatural. Any guesses?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I'm 100% convinced we're getting season seven now. Yay! Don't think we'll get a season eight, though, and I'm fine with it.
ReplyDeleteWHY YOU GOTTA DO THIS TO US, THOUGH, JIM? I feel like the gif where Stewie from Family Guy is running around in circles.
I just know this is the S7 announcement......
ReplyDeleteYaaaaaay!!!!
Knew it would happen but it'll be nice to have it officially confirmed at last.
I hope so.
ReplyDeleteNow that's just not fair - leaving us hanging like this. Let's hope it's confirmation for seven 7.
ReplyDeleteThat would just be stupid? TNT? Is there even ANY shows from Warner Bros. that air on TNT besides any re-runs?
ReplyDeleteBut, anyways, a season renewal would be nice, but imagine if Jim found out that JDM is returning for an episode, or even an arc! :)
Haha, we'll probably be fine with it until half way through Season 7 when we realise it's almost over. xD
ReplyDeleteI completely disagree. ;)

ReplyDeleteThis.
ReplyDeleteSince when did "fans" and "grateful" go in the same sentence?

ReplyDeleteJim sure knows how to stir things up......:)
ReplyDeleteLike Sera would ever hurt him....he's got a woodchipper and he knows how to use it......
Go on Jim, tell us, we promis not to tell anybody
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !
ReplyDeleteYou obviously don't know much about Supernatural if you think a character has to be alive to be on Supernatural.
ReplyDeleteI have watched Supernatural from the day it aired the pilot and I have not missed an episode. Believe me, I know Supernatural. ReplyDeleteI agree, and Supernatural needs to keep moving forward now, not constantly revisiting the past.
ReplyDeleteWhat a way to torture us. He knew that would drive us nuts. I am thinking pretty good thoughts about a Season 7.
ReplyDeletelol

Agreed !!!

ReplyDeleteCuz that would be gross. :p

a Tulpa TV show?
ReplyDeleteA spin-off would make me almost as happy as a seventh season. Grumpy Old Men Take Down Ghosts and Demons. I could definitely get behind this one.

ReplyDeleteI LOL'd. xD
ReplyDeleteOld John. I would like to see young John again. Matt Cohen...*wipes drool*
ReplyDeletehe actually accused you of not knowing much about supernatural??? you?! of all people? hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteApparently, Jim Beaver is denying that he knows about a 7th season renewal. Guess that means something else big and great is up on Supernatural. Any guesses?
ReplyDelete1. Mark Sheppard returns
ReplyDelete2. Spin-off
3. Jim is a little late on the news that Ostroff is leaving
BWAH!!! I love #3. Thanks for making me laugh!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome. :)
ReplyDeleteBoth yours and Dahne's posts are just sad.
ReplyDeleteBringing back loved characters as well as going back to the past IS WHAT SUPERNATURAL DOES.
That's what continuity does to ya. Unless you two are just unaware of that action with seeing such classic flubs as LOST and what not.
Well, to be earnest, I'm probably the only person who comes here that knows more about the series except for the writers themselves.
ReplyDeleteAny chance that you love Summer Glau?
ReplyDeleteOur posts may be sad - in your opinion. In my opinion, your posts make no sense whatsoever.
