Another excellent episode with new revelations! As a former citizen of Israel, I am filled with pride to know that the Mossad and Eli Cohen (Oded Fehr) will be featured!
I have not finished the episode yet, but wanted to cheer for Oded Fehr! I have enjoyed him in more than a few movies or guest starring roles on TV AWESOME news!
A good episode but not great for me. I am liking the plots, but something just feels "off" this year to me. I cannot put my finger on exactly what is different or missing from last year. Maybe it's just too many subplots going on at once in different places for me. I'm sure they will all merge together in a more deeply layered and detailed plot as the season progresses, but for now there is a lot going on! 1- Anna trying to get info from her mom, 2-Joshua reviving but not remembering, 3-Erika's possible genetic tweaking, 4-Erika and Kyle tracking down the more active Fifth Column, 5-Jack feeling guilty about the bomber,6- Ryan debating changing sides not knowing Anna manipulated him, 7-Chad changing sides knowing Anna manipulated him and 8-Lisa changing sides out of love. That is a lot of stories and sub-plots in one episode.
I love the 3 generations of Visitor royalty all talking about loyalty and betrayal as they betray or have betrayed one another. Definitely going to like the Eli Cohen Fifth Column Resistance plot. A lot of new stuff touched on that has potential.... now they just need to flesh it out and it should all be good I think....
Hmmm, maybe I should start watching again. But the show lost me in season 1. The main problem I'm having with this show is that I can't relate to any character. I don't care about any of the Vs, this reporter or the priest. I hate Erica's kid (Kyle?) and also Erica wasn't very interesting although I like Mitchell a lot. The only personal remotely interesting for me was Hobbs. Even though FlashForward was bad, I found most of the characters a lot better.
It's true for me too pretty much, but I like the overall premise and kept watching. Maybe you liked Hobbs most because he is basically the only character on the series that is comfortable in his own skin. He is a bad ass, he wants to kill the treacherous Vs and he is ok with that. Everyone else is so conflicted by this or that. Well, Anna is comfortable with who she is, but she's wearing someone else's skin....
IT WAS BRILLIANT .. I LOVE MY TV FAST-PACED AND SURPRISING ..
something is happening for all of the characters at the same time & I am LOVING the tension it creates .. makes the story much more interesting & you will be looking forward to every character's scene to find out what are they gonna do ..
I loved it so much & can't wait for the next episode.
Yeaahh :D.... the soul thing already sounds ridiculous What I find unfortunate is the bad FX, you can't blame the show itself for having a low budget, but c'mon I believe even The Vampire Diaries had a better car crash... And did anyone notice anything off when Anna hit her mother? It didn't look like she even touched her, was is supposed to be like this? Erica and Hobbs should hook up already, they have amazing chemistry; and I always enjoy Erica/Lisa scenes Can't wait for Oded Fehr!!!!!!!!!! All in all I voted amazing, casuse for"V" standarts and the show's style the episode was really great; and it also doesn't hurt how ultra-pretty Elizabeth Mitchell looks ;)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Souls? Really? There was enough irrationality with Jack, but now the V's are going to research the human "soul"?
ReplyDeleteShow's over for me.
