    I was looking forward to this and while I think it did advance the plot in a needed manner.... I think it was a let down to me and just "OK". The ridiculous CGI tail of Anna's was cool in concept but terrible in execution, the slow motion jumping by the tracker with low angle camera work to make a maybe 7 or 8 foot jump seem much larger... ridiculous! I did like the introduction of Brett Harrison and the humor her added to the episode. Maybe from seeing the original series or enough Sci-fi to think ahead of the plot (or just having a working brain) the big shock endings going into commercials were almost an afterthought. wow, seriously.. the Visitors want to use us to breed? Shocking! Well, not so much since we knew it last year. So was it really a surprise what Red Rain was? I guess the drama level seemed forced to me this episode. One good thing it has me listening to old Peter Gabriel music again...

    I agree with darq's posts about this episode. I just found it "OK" in all aspects as well. For me, the season opener/episode felt like a 1.5 than 2.0; as if it should have been the start of the back 9 of season 1 than a completely new season. But, I am glad the show survived for another season.
