The Good Wife - Casting News - Rita Wilson

Rita Wilson is among several guest-stars this season to have been booked for multiple episodes.

Prior to her first episode even airing, The Good Wife producers have hired the It’s Complicated star–and Tom Hanks’ good wife–Rita Wilson to return.

Wilson, who will first appear in the February 15 episode titled “Net Worth,” took to the social media platform Twitter this past Saturday to announce her return. “I am so excited to be back at The Good Wife for another episode,” she tweeted. She also sent the cast well wishes for their SAG award nominations, “Wishing the cast luck at the SAG Awards tomorrow.”

The actress will first popup in episode 14 as Diane Lockhart’s (Christine Baranski) old lawyer friend Viola Walsh. Earlier this season CBS announced that Michael J. Fox, first appearing in episode 6, would return for two more episodes. It is not yet known when Wilson’s next episode is slated to air.
