Glee - No Justin Bieber episode, just one song

Contrary to a previous online report, EW has learned that Glee will not be airing a Justin Bieber tribute episode. Let’s hear the deets from Mr. Glee himself, Ryan Murphy: “Those [tributes] are reserved for artists with big catalogs,” he explains. “Bieber comes up in episode 13 as a small plot point. Sam (Chord Overstreet) sings a JB song to win Quinn’s (Dianna Aragon) approval.” The episode, which is called “Comeback”, will air later this winter and also feature Rachel (Lea Michele) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) diva’ing it out on a tune from Rent.

    Well, it is pretty entertaining, as Sam has the Bieber-cut. But a song from Rent surely makes up for it. I'm hoping for "Take Me or Leave Me".

    Can't wait until Rachel & Mercedes have their 'diva off'. Both Lea and Amber are amazing singers, and Rent is my favorite musical. Let's do this. :)

    Well they can't all be as good as that mashup. I think we can suffer through one song. Hopefully Quinn can as well.

    Although he seems to be dating the very attractive Selena Gomez, so maybe its only his music and acting talent which sucks. ;)

    That was a good explanation from Mr. Ryan Murphy, those tribute episodes are for artists that you can somewhat already consider as legends or pillars in the industry. Justin's too young for that. I think one song is ok.
