Chuck - Casting News - Lauren Cohan joins cast

Thanks to Janneke for the heads up that TVline are reporting that Vampire Diaries Lauren Cohan is joining Chuck for a major recurring role.

Cohan will play Vivian, a beautiful, charming and sophisticated socialite who is currently enrolled at Oxford studying history. She is the daughter of a criminal mastermind.

    I'm really liking this news, I enjoyed Lauren Cohan's stint on Supernatural as Bela Talbot. By the sounds of things, her character will be fairly similar on Chuck.

    Wow finally i've been having trouble connecting to comment. Don't watch Chuck, saw one episode that was fun though. Didn't like the character of Bela but she played her well..and now we have conformation Cohan is not going to be on VD much longer :P (surprise surprise).

    Well, what do you know? She was already on SPN, she's on TVD right now and NOW she's gonna be on CHUCK! This girl is STALKING my favorite shows! (Not that I mind, I actually like her. :D)

    Thrilled for Lauren. Have been following her from Supernatural. She's a brilliant actress, don't really care what others say. She's done great on TVD. Sad to see her leave it, I really liked her character Rose, granted not as much as I loved Bela. Lauren turned me into a fan of Vampire Diaries, never watched the show before her and have not caught up on the season and really enjoy the show. Congrats to Lauren for getting a new job, she deserves it. About time people realize she can act!
