Alcatraz - More Casting Additions

The cast of J.J. Abrams Alcatraz continues to grow.

Veteran television actor Jeffrey Pierce has been added to the cast. He played Randall Reese in ABC’s short-lived The Nine (2006).

English actor Robert Lawrenson has also landed a role as Barclay Flynn. Lawrenson is best known for his recurring role as Declan MacRae on the Canadian sci-fi series Sanctuary.

Chad Rook (Sleepover Nightmare) will play a character named Luke, and Samuel Patrick Chu (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) has a part as a teenager.

Filming is in progress in Vancouver, and takes place in San Francisco and on Alcatraz next month.

The pilot debuts on FOX this fall.
