That was great, absolutely great, I am so happy with the end results. I am so confused about the Florricks religion. I thought i heard Peter's mother talk about going to church one episode. I know this family is not religious, though Peter found religion last year but is Alicia's daughter praying that shocking. I thought that these were one of those families that believed in God but just were not religious. Great acting from entire cast, Cary needs to come back to the real law firm. Alicia needs to stay faithful to her husband, she is "The Good Wife".
Yeah, I think when their grandmother found her (and then later, Alicia) found her praying, it was odd because the family is, as you say, not really big-practitioners. Also, I wouldn't put anything past Peter's mother, she probably attends service weekly for appearances and gossip, or she might've slipped it into conversation as well for appearances.
This episode was AWESOME from the minute it started to the minute it ended. I love how the writers can mix up the case and the stories from the characters without making it boring or obvious. The Alicia/Will fling, for example. It was brought up, but it never really got in the way. Just... great. And I loved to see Dianne kinda personally involved in the case, it was a good change. We usually just see in the office and this made her feel more human, I guess. More real.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
That was freakin' intense. What a cast this show has. And the writing... AGHHH it makes me crazy with how good it is!
