Thanks to our good friend Esteban for sending us the following....

JOHN GLOVER RETURNS AS LIONEL LUTHOR; EXECUTIVE PRODUCER KELLY SOUDERS MAKES HER DIRECTORIAL DEBUT

Tess (Cassidy Freeman) acquires a Kryptonian box that once belonged to Lionel Luthor (John Glover). When Clark (Tom Welling) accidentally activates the box, he’s transported to a parallel universe where Lionel found Clark in the cornfields instead of the Kents. In this universe, Clark Luthor is a murderer and Lois (Erica Durance) is engaged to Oliver (Justin Hartley) and both of them hate Clark. Clark must be careful not to tip off Lionel that he’s not his son while trying to figure out how to get back to Earth where the monster Clark Luthor was transported in his place.

Executive Producer Kelly Souders directed the episode written by Bryan Q. Miller

  1. Sounds freaking awesome! How I missed Lionel...John Glover rocks. And Tom playing a mudererous Clark should be good.I was hoping to see Bizzaro again this season, but I guess that's the closest we'll get.

    Man this looks awsome!! In the comics they had alternate universe trip where there is a bad clark. I guess this is the closest they can get to it. Lionel Luthor was an awsome character altho i liked him better as a antihero in seasons 6 and 7 more because he kinda took the villainy in the series from Lex in the begining. John Glover....WELCOME BACK! and im happy he will return in 1 more episode by series end. John Schneider will return in 2 more.

  3. Ugh. I'm not a fan of episodes like this. There doesn't seem much of a point to it, especially in the show's final season.

  4. I think what they're trying to get at is that Clark should be really thankful that the Kents found him instead. Kinda like what Lois said to him in the future.

  5. Clark has always loved and appreciated the Kents which, if you are correct about the point of this little adventure, would make the whole think unnecessary.

  6. I agree. But there might be more to it than this!

    @Bruce_F
    my guess is that this is an episode that will show clark, us, and the world what he would be like if he gave in to his darkness, had been raised by an evil person like lionel, and turned into the comic book character Ultraman who is Superman's alternate persona (dont really know another word for it). Like Daniel said, theres probably more to it. im hoping for a line saying "Hello clark, im ultraman, and u are only super!"
