Smallville fans are you shocked or are you SHOCKED?!!?
I kid, of course, because anyone who saw Friday's episode knows that Clark already has an engagement ring in his hot little hands, and newsflash: I can confirm to you that he totally will put a ring on it.
Oh yeah, and the big bosses can confirm it too. (Just in case you think they know more about their own show than we do.)
"It goes kind of where people are expecting it to go," executive producer Kelly Souders promises you fans. "And it'll happen in the next three episodes."
And that's all the timing you are getting, so guess what? You'll have to watch this show each and every Friday! (Lucky you.)
Sources in the know tell me the engagement scene is a pretty amazing payoff for "Clois" fans (bring a hanky!). But will it be as out-of-this-world swoon-worthy as Clois' barn scene in the 200th episode?
"That's hard to top," executive producer Brian Peterson admits. But Souders is hopeful. "We're trying. We're giving it the old Smallville try. It's a pretty romantic moment."
As for whether there will be an actual wedding before Smallville signs off its 10th and (presumably) final season, Peterson said "it's too soon to be able to answer that one, one way or another."

ReplyDeleteSeriously though, they should of just went ahead and let the cat out of the bag 2 episodes ago. It was pretty obvious by then.
Even if they are that much in love with each other, I still think it's a little too soon for a marriage proposal.
ReplyDeleteWow what a shocker E!! I'm sooooo floored. BTW that was sarcasm lol. It was soooo obvious after watching that, they should have just said it. It was so dumb of them to have waited so long to tell us and then after Ambush it was kind of obvious!

I disagree, how much longer do you think they need to wait?? Life is short, I think it's brilliant they are doing the engagement now.

ReplyDeleteThey pretty much went out during season 9..& also the fact Lois has been in love with Clark since season 8, probably the same for Clark since they would have kissed during 8x10 (Bride) hadn't it been for Lana walking in.
ReplyDeleteThey've known each other for 6 and a half years and are completely in love with one another. They're also both ready to take the next step.
I don't know I still think it's a little sudden. Oh well, they still haven't said if they're actually getting married yet.

ReplyDeleteThey've been together for over a year now. In Offscreensville they don't show us how many months but in Season 8 episode like 7 "Kandor" Clark says something like "We've been together 8 months" or something and that was a while ago, so they have been together a long time actually.
