IT’S A DOG’S LIFE — Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) investigate what seems to be a werewolf killing but turns out to be a skinwalker (guest star Andrew Rothenberg) posing as a family dog who is taking revenge on his owner’s enemies. After capturing the dog, he turns human and tells Sam and Dean that an Alpha skinwalker has created many sleeper cells that will rise on his command and kill their families.. 7. omg once I was talking to a friend about episode ideas for Supernatural, since we both are hooked, and we both thought that they should do something dog related that wasn't a hellhound, so its cool to see that something we kinda thought of is actually an episode. And as a side note, we totally thought it was necessary last season for them to do an episode mocking Twilight, so its cool to see that they thought of that too

  8. paige turned a dog into a man in the first couple episodes of season 5 when she's a dog walker.

  9. Mark Sheppard interview and he was on set when it was being filmed

  10. Sorry but this episode sounds like a dog. ;) I'm sure it won't be, given that Supernatural has a track record of making something brilliant out of the lamest sounding scenario.
btw does everyone here know about Adam's post requesting ideas for possible new competitions?

  11. This episode doesn't really excite me either from the synopsis. Still Supernatural has a way of making things better than they sound. The saving grace, if tvmonkey is right, is Crowley. He always means good things. Will he be annoyed as the bureaucrat of hell, supremely ticked off that he got outplayed for Bobby's soul, or is he back to being the snarky, all-about-me demon I came to love? Any way it goes, I love me some Crowley.

  12. how do you know that Crowley is back? it's not mentioned here

  13. there was an episode that Prue turned into a white Dog
and got hit by a cute guy's car and then he fixed her up
when Phoebe turned to that creature when she was having issues with Cole
you know when her hair turn into white and she screams out loud to face her Pain
i am sorry i don't remember what's the episode name , but i remember also some flashbacks
i hope that i helped you to remember

  14. Yeah. I just posted about that. They're all the same to me. Get rid of them all. Of course, they have to figure out how to kill an alpha first.

  15. I think you are thinking of shapeshifters. Skinwalkers are different. Although, correct me if I'm wrong, they are cousin-like in that shapeshifters can turn into people but skinwalkers can only turn into animals.

  16. I knew after all those false alarms of the yappy dog with the bow that it was too good to be true. Now we have to beware Fido.

  17. Aren't they just an offshoot of shifters? Assuming they are I'd like to get rid of all of them. If I'm wrong I'll be glad but I think they're just an offshoot of shifters. I put them in the same category. It's too damn bad they didn't find out how to kill that alpha shifter either. That would of been welcome.

  18. Help me, I can't remember, when did Charmed turn a dog into a man?

  19. 'posing as a family dog who is taking revenge on his owner's enemies' Lol

Gosh, I can't wait for this episodes, sounds super-funny! :D

  20. Sounds interesting. :)
Can't wait to see how they turn a dog into a man...lol I get flashbacks to Charmed thinking about it.

  21. Yes. Let's kill the alpha skinwalker as soon as possible. Out of all the creatures that have popped up on Supernatural over the years, I like those things the least by far. Let's move on.

  22. This episode sounds like it's interchangeable with any season 1 episode :(
When is there going to be an epic-level episode again as The Third Man??

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm not sure about a dog into a man, but there was a third season episode where Prue turned into a dog...I think it was called Look Who's Barking....

  24. Crowley is back for this episode.Yay!

  25. I loved that movie^^ Charlie was just cute ;P

  26. Yep. Love the one liner idea. HATE WITH A FIERY PASSION the Dean vs Sam idea. I'm staying out of it if that happens. Won't even look at the thread.

  27. ahaha yeah I checked on imdb.com :D I dont watch eureka though

  28. It was a bad joke about hunger on my part. It was also probably confusing to some people because the character who plays Vincent was also the conspiracy nut in the shapeshifter/bank heist episode of Supernatural.

    ReplyDelete
  29. hum no idea what that is but okay :DDD

    ReplyDelete
  30. He did (sort of) make it. He was reincarnated as Vincent, proprietor of Cafe Diem on Eureka.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sounds intriguing...and funny, too!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Me too. I loved all the shapeshifters episode so far. I think my favorite is 'Dracula', he was so funny.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Right! Thanks so much. I liked watching Charmed but I'm not so good with the episode details.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Well, I'm really excited about this episode.
How long has it been since we've seen Sam and Dean go on a regular hunt, like in the first season ? I miss that. I actually hoped Crowley wouldn't be in this one.

  35. Yeah it was bad enough in the best character competition. There are plenty of great discussion/poll ideas coming through without having to risk all out warfare!
I noticed Adam says he's going to do a discussion on SPN season1 when he's finished watching it. That will be so cool.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thank you, I think I remember it, Prue was such a cute dog.

    ReplyDelete
  37. *shakes fist* Why, I oughta...

    *sighs* Damn kids.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Well, since you've shat on one of my favorite aspects of SPN mythos, I thought aside from the clown chair+Sam, that rugaru episode was pretty craptacular. "Skin" and "Nightshifter" were a lot better imo. :P

    ReplyDelete
  39. Interesting :) I really like the idea, especially the sleeper cells thing. Hopefully, the while dog into man thing would not look fake or anything. This is sorta new for Supernatural but knowing the show, they will make it amazing :D

    ReplyDelete
  40. The BANSHEE. One of my favorites from Charmed. :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. I guess that even though the offer will be hard to refuse, it faces Dean and Sam with a moral dilemma, as well. If they hand over the alpha to Crowley, Sam might get his soul back, but at the same time they risk that all the sleeper cells will go off sometime in the future, killing numerous of innocent people. Also, by giving Crowley the alpha, they might actually help him to expand into Purgatory, which can have dire consequences.
