Update: 13:30 Seems that this is an old photo that Jim just reposted.
Thanks to tvmonkey for the following.
Jim Beaver posted this pic on twitter-could the horseman 'Death' be back?
If I'm right then they are currently filming episode 11-'Appointment in Samarra'

Jim said on his twitter that's an old photo, but...
ReplyDeleteI was just going to say that ;D
ReplyDeleteAh.,.. that's a shame :(
ReplyDeleteWell, TPTB did say that they will bring back Death. I'm not saying it's related to this pic, but Death will be back this season.
ReplyDeleteI still think it is Death that Grandpa is working for maybe he makes horsemen out of Alpha's
ReplyDeleteShame that it's an old photo, but I think Death will return at some point(they've said that much)..
ReplyDeleteI really want to know what episode 11 will be about!
I checked the dates and the last episode with a date is episode 10(December 3rd)...If they're shooting epi.11 now,it means that it will probably air before the Christmas hiatus..Assuming that it will air December 10th,I think there's a good chance that it will be the last one before the hiatus and something big is gonna happen!
I can't wait!
Maybe he was hinting at something?
ReplyDeleteThe last episode this year should be episode 10 if we go on past seasons, with the back 12 airing after the hellatus. The CW's schedule suggests that the week ending Friday 3rd Dec will be the last week of originals in 2010, if they were going for another week I think it would have been included in the schedule?
ReplyDeleteThough episode 11 i being filmed now that doesn't mean it will air this this of the hellatus, they often film episodes well in advance of them airing around this time of year. They'll probably film up to mid November (so another 2 episodes?) then commence filming mid January like last season?
Episode 10 should be the one with the doctor played by Robert Englund (I think the air date stated as the 10th Dec was probably wrong). There should be a nice cliff hanger for us to fret over during the hellatus.
Ooooh!
ReplyDeleteI thought they would take a break from filming when they finished the episodes that would air before Christmas...So I assumed that episode 11 would film before the hiatus! Thanks a lot for clearing that up!
: )
And yes,I've read somewhere that episode 10 is the one with Robert Englund!!
I love the idea of this... death bringing back the dead (i.e. Sammeh and Grandpa Creepy) sounds like a good spin on things.
ReplyDeleteIt's so confusing. The schedule goes til 3rd december and the article about Englund say he's in the episode on dec 10th. Usually it's 10 episodes and then there is a two month break: I also find it strange that we don't know the title for episode 10 but for episode 11 and 12. Maybe they're changing episodes again. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteYeah I was wondering why they haven't given a title for episode 10. Thought I might have missed it somehow. I'm hoping the title (and episode) is so outrageous they're saving it for a pre hellatus surprise.
ReplyDeleteI hate that they're able to change the episodes order at the last minute so easily, it means that it doesn't even have references to past episodes. Other than the Alphas storylines, this season barely has a plot. Compare to Season 3, it was about pretending Dean from going to Hell, Season 4 was about the coming of angels and Lucifer. Season 5 was about the Apocalypse. And now season 6 is about Dean living with Lisa, then some alpha shapeshifter, then God's weapons (only epic episode this season, but now we don't even get references to Baltazhar and the other weapons), then an out of nowhere Bobby centric episode, and a vampires episode. I hope they introduce some central storyline other than what is wrong with Sam and crappy Grandpa (which, about Grandpa, I don't even care).
ReplyDelete:/
I'd love to see Death again.
ReplyDeleteThis O' Death scene was like the best, darkest, creepiest and yet the most awesome scene even to handle such a creepy character in TV history. Death is a bad ass
I'd probably have the same issue you have, but I feel like this season's storyline is going to remain in the background and slowly emerge instead of throwing us into the middle of it. I think the writers wrote themselves into a pickle when they threw the apocalypse at us at the beginning of season 5, and then had to drag it out 22 episodes. I actually think that if they had taken care of the horsemen over time, etc. it could have worked, but that isn't how they did it: they said there will be more standalones in this season so if there are going to be a lot of standalones, I say put them earlier in the season and build up intrigue slowly and let the plot progress at a natural pace. Maybe we'll find something out about the overall mystery through every ordeal they go through in each episode--that seems how it is working out. I don't think the season has been exceptional so far, but it seems to be heading in the right direction at least for me.
ReplyDeleteWell it wouldn't be Supernatural if it didn't leave us tearing our hair out and cursing at the hellatus. I expect a doozy of a cliffhanger this time. As much as I would like to know what is up with Sam, my guess is that they will fade to black right before we get the answer and we will only see Dean's surprise face when Cas whispers it to him. Supernatural - killing fans off with anticipation one hellatus at a time.
ReplyDeleteAt least we are getting a December episode this year. Normally they end in November, making mid-January seem like an eternity away.
