My Generation has been cancelled by ABC after just two episodes. Production has been halted and the show is off the air effective immediately. No word on what will replace it yet
Serioulsy? It's in a horrible time slot I can't watch all these shows on at once. I bet if they moved the timeslot then the show would be a hit. Seemed like an awesome show. Wish another network would pick it up
Unfortunately, when a show's demo numbers are that low, the network can't afford to let the show develop. ABC's Castle got that chance because the ratings were more tolerable. There really wasn't any gray area for this show, ratings-wise.
I think all new shows deserve at least five episodes even if they are failing. Give them a chance to build up a following and develop the story a bit. So sad for the cast :(
I too think it's messed up. Also, if any new show has a ten episode season, they already have seven of them filmed, and aired two or three episodes, when the network cancels the show, at least put it on DVD for those that like it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteThat's ridiculous. They didn't even give it a chance to develop a following. There are so many new shows right now, no one can watch all of it.
ReplyDeleteSeriously??they didn't give it a chance to develop..i actually liked the first two episodes.
