Charice fans have been eagerly anticipating the return of Sunshine Corazon on "Glee" ever since she debuted on the season two premiere. And while there has been a lot of confusion as to when the 18-year-old singer will return to the hit Fox comedy, Charice has finally revealed that she has finished shooting her second show.

In a new interview with Philstar.com, details about Charice's return to "Glee" are finally revealed. Bum D. Tenorio, Jr. reports:

"Charice is coming back in Episode 6 of Glee. She did not tell me what songs she would sing but refuted talks that she had already recorded Celine Dion songs for Glee."

Until now, several sources have speculated about a return for Charice in "The Substitute." Featuring guest star Gwyneth Paltrow, episode seven will air on November 9.

But Charice fans can now expect to see the Filipina singing sensation one week earlier. The rumored title for episode six is "Never Been Kissed."

While the full schedule of shows has yet to be released, fans can rest assured that Charice will be hanging in at least until the end of season two in May 2011.

Which songs would you like to see Charice sing when she returns to "Glee" this season?

  1. I do not think Charice really had a say in the presentation of the song "Listen." For instance, the hand movements (that some people complained about) were actually requested by the producer of the show. Personally, I thought her hand gestures were perfect. They added a lot to the emotions of the song and to the silent conversation she had with Rachel/Lea. As for Charice toning down the song, that only makes logical sense in the context of Sunshine's personality. Remember Charice has to perform in accordance with Sunshine's shy and reserved persona. If she had sung "Listen" like she did at the after Oscar party (which was beyond phenomenal) that would have been totally out of place. Now, that she is with VA, perhaps the producers will allow her to unleash her entire arsenal? - Here is hoping.

  2. I agree. Her songs always have emotional depth, especially when sang live. "Adagio" (Italy), "Listen" (Oscars), "God Bless America" (Madison), are just a few examples. I was very disappointed when I heard the "Glee" version which was toned down.

  3. Without the guests, the show would be boring. They add spice to the show.

  4. Charice's character is actually a good addition to the cast, being a rival to Rachel Berry. and glee should introduce freshmen coz of the fact that they are high school students and they must graduate.

    Sunshine FTW!

  5. YES! Where's Groff? After his last performance last season, I'm hoping to see him again soon.

  6. Fans have eagerly awaiting her return? Really, she was cute and all, but her acting was wooden and songs lacked emotional depth. Hopefully, since her last appearance, she'll be comfortable.

  7. 100% agree. They have lots of characters, and they should continue their storyline, not just OMG Javier Bardem, Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney, Charice etc. But I'd be more than happy to see Jonathan Groff (Jessie) again...

  8. I'm not terribly interested in her. In fact, I'm tired of the never ending parade of guest stars and wish they'd just focus on the main cast. Granted, some guest stars have a legitimate purpose (Chenoweth, Stamos) but most of them really aren't necessary.

  9. Songs lacked emotional depth? She sang "Telephone" and "Listen" the way she was directed to and in accordance with her shy and reserved character. If you want to see an emotional version of Charice's "Listen," go to youtube. If you were to compare the Glee version with the one she did at the after 'Oscar Party,' it is obvious that her Glee version was toned down, which makes perfect sense in the context of her Glee personality. And yes I am one who eagerly awaits her return because she has got an unbelievable voice!
