The Whole Truth - Has it been cancelled already?

30 Sept 2010

Update: 1st October Looks like the web site has now been updated. So for now, The Whole Truth is not cancelled. I just wonder how long it will last.

The following screenshot is from ABC's own site. Now a couple of days ago this showed The Whole Truth. It's now showing "Program Coming Soon"

So have ABC quietly cancelled it? or is this just a website error.

Either way it does not look good for the show as it's ranking very highly in our Cancellation Table.

  1. If they canceled it, they won't be able to keep it quiet for very long. Quiet cancellations are non-existent this early in the season.

  2. I know this isn't the way the world works but I wish if the Powers That Be were going to have enough confidence in a show to order it to series that they would back it enough to keep it on air for a full season. Don't put on a new show "to see if it works". Sure, stuff like "Dinotopia" should have never gone to series but at least give "Lone Star" and "The Whole Truth" a chance to build and find an audience. In my opinion, no show should be cancelled before the initial 13 episode order is finished. But then I would schedule the must see shows for Friday and Saturday to make those days destination watching again. Remember when "The X-Files" was on Fridays? I bet if "Dancing With the Stars" or "American Idol" were on Friday and Saturday that people would tune in then!

  3. Noooo! And if they're going to cancel it, can at they least wait until after Judd's episode next week?
