After spending five seasons romancing for Aimee Teegarden on Friday Night Lights, Gilford is set to play doctor with Trauma star Aimee Garcia on his midseason ABC drama Off the Map, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Garcia will play a local who falls for Gilford’s plastic surgeon character in multiple episodes.

The Shonda Rhimes-backed Map centers on a group of doctors that work at a remote medical clinic in South America.
