Australian model-turned-actress Rachael Taylor—best known Stateside for her role as “signals analyst” Maggie in Transformers—is joining Grey’s Anatomy for a multi-episode arc, sources confirm to me exclusively.Taylor’s character is still being conceived—she’s not scheduled to debut until midseason—but a Grey’s insider confirms that she will be playing a (surprise!) doctor.
In addition to Transformers, Taylor also starred opposite Joshua Jackson in the 2008 horror flick Shutter.
