Ellen DeGeneres to perform on 'Dance' finale

Ellen DeGeneres isn't leaving Fox just yet.

DeGeneres will be performing on Thursday's "So You Think You Can Dance" season finale, Entertainment Weekly reports.

She will be recreating the popular hip-hop performance danced by injured finalist Alex Wong and all-star Stephen "tWitch" Boss earlier this season.

The talk show host taped the routine with Boss on Wednesday night after monthlong rehearsals, according to another report.

DeGeneres semi-confirmed her appearance on the Fox dance competition show Thursday morning on Twitter: "#SYTYCD finale tonight. Broke my heart when Alex had to drop out. Tonight, I do something and I hope it makes him smile."

Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, who is returning to "Idol," told Access Hollywood in late July that he would love to have DeGeneres on the "Dance" judging panel: "We [would] welcome her back."

  3. No shit, Sherlock. I have been a member of this site since Andy's (darkUFO's) early LOST days and have contributed numerous spoilers myself under my internet persona, so you don't have to be sarcastic about how SpoilerTV works, I am PRETTY I figured that out over the last couple of years...

But this spoiler was the big surprise of tonight's finale show. So pray, tell me, why was it necessary to put the spoiler in the SUBJECT LINE? I get my RSS feeds via Outlook. I had no chance to avoid this. The subject line could easily have said something like: "Mystery guest for tonight's SYTYCD finale revealed" and people still would have had the choice to read the article to find out - or not.

    It isn't rocket science!
