    I think it will be more complicated. Alone that they don't kill of Lisa in the first episode, let me hope for more complexity. Also there is this talk about the show being more like season 1 and on the other hand they bring in so many new and old characters that I sometimes doubt they're not casting for 2 seasons instead of one. lol I really hope they surprise us and one of the changes is a more complex overall story arc.

    I doubt she's seen the show either but she is towing the company line here. Everything (Kripke, Sera, the actors) I've seen says that Sam will be the enthusiastic, shoot first, get laid hunter while Dean will want to stick to his normal life. That along with the heavy emphasis on monsters over mytharc sounds exactly like season 1 in reverse. In fact, it sounds like second verse, same as the first as opposed to a new chapter. I'm trusting Sera until episode 3 and then the gloves come off if she's screwing with the characters I love.
