Updated Brackets HERE
Today we have some of the Contests Big Guns in action once again, as we see Doctor Who, the British sole remaining entry in the competition fighting it out against The OC. It's first round showing against Long-Lasting ER shows it has the potential, but it probably needs to find more die-hard fans out there to really battle some of the big guns. Also today we have pre-tournament favourite LOST versus the very popular sitcom Seinfeld. LOST was given a half a day thrashing by The West Wing, but totally turned it around in the final 10 hours or so to win with the current second highest most votes for one show in one round (behind Fringe's 3893 mega score earlier in Round 2) Can it smash this and reclaim it's place as favourite. Only time will tell. Let the battles Commence!!

LOST is a show that revolutionized network television and the internet. The series explored themes and storylines that most shows were afraid to explore and created a buffet of mysteries that kept that show interesting for six seasons. LOST is a show that will be remembered for its clever twists and complex characters, with both great heroes and villains, for having a roller coaster run and for proving that not all the best shows are on cable television. LOST is an amazing show with perhaps the most controversial series finale ever.

If Lost were to lose to a great show, I'd get over it. But if it loses to the piece o' **** that is Seinfeld, I might flip a ****!
ReplyDeleteLost is obviously going to win this one.
ReplyDeleteLost all the way
ReplyDeleteha, I was the 666th vote for Lost! Does that mean I become the smoke monster (evil incarnate)?
ReplyDeleteSeinfeld for me. Both shows were kind of meh for me, but at least Seinfeld had some entertaining moments.
ReplyDeleteshurrup. seinfield is even more epic than lost in its genre.
ReplyDeleteaaaah c'mon. How can you expect me to vote on this poll? I love both shows equally. I guess the polls get more and more difficult as we move towards the end of the poll.
ReplyDeleteLooks like LOST is winning. It's bittersweet. I love both shows; I'll be happy if any show qualifies and be sad for the one that didn't.
ReplyDeleteI think LOST is a newly ended show and has a lot of fans on the internet than fans of Seinfeld.
Dude, Seinfeld is an awesome show. It takes a little getting used to, but the show is hilarious. Haven't seen anything like it. After all these years, it still manages to tickle anyone who watches it. Never has most of the jokes gone out of context. Jerry Seinfeld is the funniest guy I've seen on TV.
ReplyDeleteBut I get that LOST is a great show. Personally, I can't pick (which is why I refrained from voting), they are both too awesome.
lol :D
ReplyDeleteTime to remove the cork in the island and take your powers away. :D
I guess its just not my style of humor because I never found anything about it funny. Of course, you're entitled to your opinion, so I won't bash it. Just for me, I don't find Jerry Seinfeld or the show funny at all.
ReplyDeleteterrible seeding for Seinfeld,... if It didn't have to go up against Lost it would prob make it to the finals or seim's at least
ReplyDeleteI love both of these shows -- probably my two favorite. I'm glad Lost is winning, since that's what I voted for, but it shouldn't be winning by that much. Seinfeld is hysterical.
ReplyDeleteSeinfeld changed the pop culture.
ReplyDeleteLost had an impact on tv.
No question: Seinfeld
Yeah it was really hard for me to vote against Seinfeld TBH. Geez, I took off work for the Seinfeld finale & always believed it would come back after the year was up, talk about denial ha! I still watch Seinfeld reruns even though I have the complete collection on DVD. I'll never tire of Seinfeld but this is a Lost fan site, it didn't have a chance against Lost. Too bad they had to face each other.
ReplyDeleteThis whole tournament has had the worst seeding ever.
ReplyDeleteyou should watch curb your enthusiasm. In the 6th season Larry David attempted to make a reunion show for seinfeld and some of it actually aired, haha.
ReplyDeleteSeriously! I don't know about you but how many times do you throw out Seinfeldisms. I still laugh watching Seinfeld having seen each episode probably over a dozen or more times, never gets old.
ReplyDeleteI saw it! I've never watched Curb (not sure why I know it's a great show & Larry David is hysterical) but when I heard about the reunion of the Seinfeld cast I watched that episode. I thought it was funny.
ReplyDeleteYeah. I can never get tired of watching it. Remember the episode where George asks Jerry to pretend to be his latex sales boss and Jerry says, he wouldn't hire him. Was just watching that episode. Hilarious. :D
ReplyDeletehahaha yeah I do wasn't that the one where George was trying to scam the woman from the unemployment office & using Jerry's phone number as Vandalay Industries? Keith Hernandez was in that one wasn't he?
ReplyDeleteyeah, thats the one. Boy, George and Kramer are two of the best characters written. :P
ReplyDeleteHa lol, probably :)
ReplyDeleteIt's random.
