Comedian and Hollywood actor Russell Brand is set to appear in the new season of The Simpsons. He told British newspaper The Sun "It's true I'm going to be in The Simpsons."Details of the role are unknown at the moment, however Brand joked "Once you've gone yellow, you've made it. My ideal show would be where I have a cartoon relapse with Barney and Homer and get smashed out of my mind with them."
The Simpsons was recently picked-up by Fox for two more seasons, making the animated sitcom the longest running show in US primetime history.
