Thanks to ilenya for the heads up.
Tony is officially staying put.
Michael Weatherly is the latest NCIS regular to ink a new multi-year deal with the show, sources confirm to me semi-exclusively.
For those keeping track at home, here’s where the 2010 NCIS Contract Renegotiation Saga stands as of this evening: Of the five actors in limbo, Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll, and David McCallum have all reached new deals to return. Sean Murray is the sole cast member still in negotiations.
Mark Harmon and Cote de Pablo already had deals in place for next season.
Relieved Tony is sticking around for season 8 and beyond?

of course i'm relieved....i almost got a heart attack when i read "Tony is officially staying put"when i thought i'm reading "Tony is officially staying out".... i might need glasses lol
ReplyDeletesurely the show can't live without tony... i can't wait till next season ....
Very happy about that. Though I do hope that the writers will give him more to do than juvenile jokes. As much as I love Gibbs, S7 has been WAY too Gibbs' centric. I'm ready to move on from the Shannon story line. That's one horse beaten to death twice over.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, we just need Sean/McGee to stick around :P
ReplyDeleteOh My Gosh!!! I did that too!!! (And I have glasses on! :D!)
ReplyDeleteoh.... relieved that almost everyone's sticking around.... *crosses fingers McGee's staying as well* PLEASE!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI find Tony is getting more annoying as the seasons pass, he is too old to act the way he does half the time. I know he provides comic relief, but I wish he'd grow up.
ReplyDeleteagreed. The finale would have been a lot better if they focused more on tiva, since the premier of this season was so good with them, they needed to wrap it up like that.
ReplyDeleteWell this is not a shock Thank God Micheal saw the light . Hmmm show gets insane world wide ratings, has great dvd and re run residuals money streams and in this wonkie economy what are the chances of find a new long term instant hit ?Ask David Curuso how well it went after he walked from NYPD blue? Or fall into a surefire theatrical box office hit (look at how many sure fire hit "big budget" movies have flop the last three years) . This show money in the bank and only a complete moron would walk from it . I sure Sean going to sign soon too. Is it late September yet cant wait for the new season
ReplyDeleteHa lol :)
ReplyDeleteHere here.
ReplyDeleteWould like to see Sean Murry stay also. But I am curious on all his weight loss and the fact that he looks unwell
