This should take some of the sting out of Adrianne Palicki's impending Friday Night Lights departure: The actress has signed on to reprise her role as Sam's ill-fated ex, Jessica, on Supernatural!
As you know, Jessica was whacked by a demon in the Supernatural pilot. She reappeared at the end of season 2 during Dean's genie-granting alternate reality head-trip, but hasn't been seen or heard from since.
Details regarding Palicki's return engagement are being kept under lock and key, but this much I can tell you: She's booked for one episode and it'll air early in the season (but not the season premiere).
Confirmation of her Supe comeback comes just days after EW.com broke the news that Palicki had landed the Jennifer Grey role in MGM's Red Dawn reboot. She's also expected to return to FNL this fall for a multi-episode arc to wrap up Tyra's story.
Short-story-shorter: Girlfriend is busy!
What say you, Supe fans? Stoked Sam's dead ex is being exhumed? Comment away!

I'm definitely stoked to see Jessica reappear on the show. I'm guessing it'll be another head trip for Sam, but with Kripke at the helm, one never knows.
ReplyDeletehuh. Jess reappearing? I didn't expect that, but it isn't a bad thing. But what can they possibly do? we had an alternative universe, we had time travel ... how can she come back? oO zombie? we had that. haunting ghosts who blame the winchesters for killing them? we had that.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited! ^^
Im so excited! I bet this will be Lucifers doing. Ruby said he will be grateful in ways Sam couldn't even imagin, I bet this qualifies under that. He'll bring her back for him and want him to do something in return. I guess in the end they will realize she should have stayied dead and send her back to where ever she came from. Thats why she is only there for one episode. Sam will have to say goodbye and finally move on.
ReplyDelete<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style=""><span style="">Adrianne Palicki will reprise her role as Jess on Supernatural? I didn’t expect that Mr. Kripke. I’m excited. She is lovely and a talented actress. Is a bad or a good thing? It’s depending how Jess reappears on Supernatural. </span></span><span style=""><span style="">She cold comes back as a demon </span></span><span style=""><span style="">to haunt Sam. What better ways have Lucifer to mess with Sam’s head than to have his love life appear?</span></span>

<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style=""><span style="">Or she cold comes back as an Angel of the Lord to help Sam. Jess can be the “Castiel” role to Sam. </span></span><span style=""><span style="">Or she cold comes as ghost or another head trip, or in a flashback. </span><span style="">It’s Supernatural.</span></span>
<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style=""><span style="">What I’ am say is I’m pretty excited for season 5. We have Dean, Sam, uncle Bobby, Castiel, and apparently the prophet Chuck too, and now Jess.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Good things happen.</span></span>

She can always come back as a ghost, remember that her spirit is still out there, we saw her at the end of Bloody mary for like 10 seconds. it's not like her spirit is destroyed like Mary (in Home)
ReplyDeleteI don't know...I'm not so sure about this. It's just going to drag up old feelings that Sam seemed to have gotten over. I mean sure it could create a great mindf**k for Sam but I was kind of enjoying the idea of having an evil Sam not one who is mopy and emo. The truth is Jared just doesn't look as pretty as Jensen when he cries.
ReplyDeleteCool. I'll be watching.
ReplyDeleteYes, people need to put two and two together:
ReplyDelete1. YED's victims do not find peace.
2. The places where YED would appear and kill, wouild latter be contaminated by ghosts and etc.
3. Jess was killed by YED.
4. She was only given a normal burial.
So its almost 80% certain that she remained as a ghost.
Ok is there some reason your posting old news? the original post date is 2009....so im kinda confused now
ReplyDeletei like it anything i like
