How I Met Your Mother - 4.15 - The Leap - Episode Info

The episode’s title has a double meaning. In one case, Ted is setting out on his own in the wide world of architecture with Mosby Designs, though his first project isn’t as dignified as he’d like: it’s a restaurant shaped like a cowboy hat.

The other leap? I don’t know who initiates it and I don’t know how it ends, but Barney and Robin have a conversation that includes the words “I love you” (from him) and “let’s get married” (from her, though she’s not serious). If you’re concerned about it getting mushy and losing the true Barney, don’t be. It looks like a confusing (for him) and hilarious (for us) scene.

UPDATE: Just to clarify some of the reactions I’ve seen here and on other sites:
▪ Robin is not suggesting a green card marriage. I don’t know anything about how that gets resolved.
▪ As far as I can tell, she doesn’t seem to be shooting him down, and she doesn’t seem to be mistaking it for a joke. The most likely scenario is that she’s pointing out the problem that everyone has pointed out: Barney might not want to be just friends, but he’s also not going to want to be a one-woman man.
