Thanks to DenniX and others for sending in the following.

Andrew Marlow on Castle being a suspect in Episode 5.06 (Note: This episode currently does not have a title)

“That’s a difficult one, that’s a troubling one,” CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe told me. (Marlowe is also the one who wrote episode 5×06.) “It’s always troubling when you’re in the midst of a very difficult investigation, a very startling body find, and all the evidence starts pointing towards someone you know.”
Yep, that’s right, one of our guys is a suspect. Or more specifically, Marlowe teases: “All the signs point to Castle committing the murder.”

  7. People needs to watch more tv. Lead character being a suspect it's a classic on crime TV show. Every one does it. NCIS with Tony, Bones, CSI I think.
Same as the hostage situation, trapping the characters in a box or room, going undercover as a couple, having the victim close to one character, and it goes on.
You have that plots in almost every procedural and crime shows. That's why I called it a classic (others would say cliche).
On Castle we still have to have "The witness is a little kid", "We have to care for a baby for the time.being" and one of the closest person of the lead character is the target of a murderer (Should be Alexis on Castle). And I forget a lot of common plots here

  11. Really looking forward to this ep,especially Beckett's reaction to all this. I suppose she won't believe it,considering their brand new relationship, but I read some stuff about the murder victim being an old girlfriend of Castle's that he never mentioned to Beckett before. Its gonna be interesting.

  12. "I was at home in bed" (probably true) .... "alone" (LIAAAAAAAAR, kate was with you) xDDD

  13. Huh, this is gonna be a tough episode, for both us fans and the characters.

  14. That'd be awesome. And also interesting to see since they're keeping the relationship a secret so he can't really say "I was with Kate" and she can't say "That's true." So it'd be interesting to see what he says instead ;)

  15. This "war fandom" between Bones and Castle sometimes is so ridicoulus. That kind of episode is been in every crime TV how since the started showing them on TV.

  16. Sounds like season 5 is shaping up to be primo. The 24th can't get her too soon. Keep them coming Mr. Marlowe.
