I think the show is going downhill. Once again, they used ridiculous plot devices to fabricate a ton of drama . This time with Oliver. One minute, Andy and Sam are convinced that someone used Oliver's card to gain access but yet, they don't have the common sense to assume the same person could have used Oliver's name during the illegal sale. So instead of pausing to get the witness to ID Oliver in a picture, they immediately turn the information over and confront Oliver. But I guess this would not be Rookie Blue if we didn't have at least one dramatic moment per season created by the Andy and/or Sam's poor judgement (which they are rarely taken to task for, especially since they are usually the ones to "save the day" in the end). It also pissed me off that they went through this whole process of having Traci find out about Steve, while ultimately playing zero role in his takedown. Instead Andy was the one who caught him (after it finally dawns on her that she should have shown the witness pictures before shipping him off somewhere).
It sounds like many people saw the Steve twist coming, but I'm kind of disappointed that they chose Steve as the culprit. I liked his character, and his relationship with Traci was probably one of the few current relationships that I actually liked (excluding Oliver/Celery and Frank/Noel, because we never see those). In fact, had they made someone like Chloe the culprit, I would have been ecstatic, because not only would that put an end to the terrible Dov/Chloe pairing that they keep trying to force, but the show would also be rid of one of the worst actresses in the history of the show. Honestly, really need to stop watching this show.......
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
What a great episode!
