  1. I'm praying that the result of that face-off will end with the death of Rowena.

  2. OH GOD I'M HAVING A PANIC ATTACK RIGHT NOW!!!!Dean what are you going to do????I have a bad feeling about what they're gonna do to my poor Sammy:((( But i really hope Sam will have a good storyline for next season!
Crowley please kill your mother i can't stand her anymore!!!!
Will sam and cas cure dean in the finale?or we're gonna see The MOC arc on next season ?!

  3. Oh no Dean does not make yet another dramatic decision that changes Sam's life (cue Jaws music) .Apparently Sam has to either die, sacrifice, go dark or get maimed in some way to save Dean otherwise he is not a true brother and does not love Dean.

  4. I was thinking more Cas than Rowena.

  5. they've been trying all season, is it even possible?

    ReplyDelete
  6. What?!?Noooooo.......I'll quit the show then and there!

    ReplyDelete
  7. As much as I love Misha and Cas, the writers haven't known what to do with him since season 6. The show has suffered massively as they've struggled to find something for him to do.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I don't know I mean we had the MOC arc in one and half season so i think its time for them to cure dean and deal with its consequences next season specially when the writers don't have the ability to show us what really MOC can do to Dean! but I'm worried that they won't do that!

  9. Sadly i agree but killing him is not an option for me.

  10. I wonder what this shocking decision could be.. :-/

  11. If Dean kills Sam in season 10 finale.......well....It's possible. And we all know that in the beginnig of 10x23 Dean will write a note for Sam.

    ReplyDelete
  12. That might explain why there's been so much focus on his personal story lately and why someone felt the need to give him sole credit for saving the world. They're trying to build him up.

  13. My God !!!!! DEAN WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ???? Please, please, I pray you..... We have already cried very much for Dean !!!!!! It breaks my heart !!!

  14. Agree. I loved the character in seasons 4-6 but the past few seasons have been painful. It's time for some fresh characters who have a role in the plot.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Take it back,seriously!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Unfortunately, I think the fandom, in pushing for the focus with Cas to be solely about his relationship with Dean, has handicapped the character in terms of what his role could be. I thought this year, with Cas's new focus on protecting humanity, his role should have been about removing threats against humanity including demon Dean (this was back when I had an illusion that Dean might be dangerous) and reluctantly deciding he needs to kill Dean. Kind of like Gordon back in the day. But instead he ended up with a role that was redundant to the one Sam already held, and that was saving Dean. By making Cas Dean's second brother, they've tied their hads in what they can do with the character.

  17. But i do like them together, not in a shipper way but in a caring way. They're great together, whatever lame scenes they are in.I only endured that horrible season 6 solely coz of these two.Without Cas,i have no reason to stick around coz i'm really tired of this recycled theme of one brother saving the other on a yearly basis.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'd love to see them do something fresh with Sam and Dean too and don't buy arguments that there are no other stories to tell. I see the Cas question separate from that though.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Of course there are more stories to tell, you will just have to fire Jeremy Carver ASAP and all will be okay from there on in time.

  20. I do think that Dean and Cas relating is a good thing, although I am thrilled that Sam is actually being permitted to talk to Cas this season. The big problem is that the whole "ship" has turned into a monster that seemingly can't be wrestled to the ground. If Dean and Cas breathe the same air, it's called proving their love and then when all they do is talk, it's called queer baiting. I think there are tons of inherent problems with Cas as a character. Mostly because the writers can't leave him a fully powered angel because then he's too powerful and Sam and Dean can solve every case by calling Cas. But they don't want to remove his powers. Heck even having him half-powered didn't work long term. I don't know what they do with his character here.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I agree. I still think that Sera Gamble's idea of having Cas be involved in the war for Heaven so he was not available to deal with human issues was a good use of the character. But now the Heaven story is very played out. It's gone from a war for Heaven to angel politics and I haven't seen a whole lot of outcry for More Angel Poitics.

  22. Seems like we're getting Dean 'My Way or the Highway for your own good, Sam' in this year's finale again. My guess is that Dean writes the goodbye note to Sam and Cas and asks Death to kill him before he can harm any others. Sam will either A) sit on his thumbs or get knocked out again or B) actually do more of something 'stupid' (and be blamed for it) as a last minute try to save Dean.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sadly I agree. I do know that whatever Sam does will be roundly criticized by every other character as opposed to the "you just trusted the wrong angel" "get over it" and "he did something that made you mad" responses that Dean got.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The sooner all that angel garbage is over the better.

I can´t wait for my Dean and my Sammy!!! :O ♥

  26. To elaborate more on my previous post, I think there was a lot of wasted potential this season that only just started with the reluctance to take any chances in having Dean do evil things. We ended last season with Cas reaffirming his commitment to the angel mission of protecting humanity, and his realization that an individual wasn't more important than the mission. What happened to that mission? Had Dean actually shown signs of being a big danger to people, that would have set Cas to be in the intellectually interesting place of having to choose between the greater good and personal relationships. Assuming his choice would have been different than Sam's, who is too immersed in human family relationships to choose the greater good over his brother, then Cas would have been set up to be a foil to Sam in the codependency storyline. This could have been a smart story. Instead we had both Sam and Cas vying for the role of Collette and no one speaking for the greater good (demon dean's potential victims).

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes, the determination that Dean must not do anything that can really be considered evil has been a huge drag on the storyline. Dean kills demons and supernatural beings, just like before he had the Mark. He does kill people, but they are always horrible people. People trying to rape a child or selling that child to the rapist. Honestly, I thought one way to tie the last episode into the mytharc would have been for Dean to kill Claire. I mean they could have had Cas bring her back, if they didn't want to kill a child, but Dean going that far would have put SOME tension back into the Demon!Dean story.

  28. Yeah, in many years of TV watching I've never seen a supposedly heroic, lead character who has been mud-slung and stoned by the writers and a sizeable portion of the online fandom as much as Sam Winchester. Sam just doesn't live 'under the bus' as chris684 humorously suggested he's also squeezed between a 'rock and a hard place' - he just can not have a true, untainted win as the writers give Dean.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hell, Dean eating cake = Destiel. It's ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I was figuring they were planning on having him eventually pull a Hannah, but then the Jimmy in Heaven/empty vessel nonsense happened -- which essentially took away any responsibility/consequence on Cas' part for stealing Jimmy's body.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Cas needs to become a hunter or the "King of Heaven" Crowley's opposite. LOL I love Castiel and I think I adds a lot to the show. Misha Collins has become a very beloved part of Supernatural. If they do kill him off, they better bring him back. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  32. Maybe the shocking decision Dean makes is that he asks Cas to kill him before he gets any worse. However, Sam figures out what's going on and gets in front of Dean right as Cas is going in to stab him and Sam gets stabbed instead.
I know Dean asked Cas in an earlier episode to kill him if he got worse, but that was more if Dean was out of control, this time when he asks Cas, Dean's still in control, but barely.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Or Dean bringing 'home' and eating pizza with Castiel (and Sam and Charlie, aka Girl!Dean) in 10.18 = Cas and demonMeg's reference to Cas as the 'pizza man' (6.10) in RT's 8.17 = wanting to have sex = canonDestiel.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Dean will write a not for Sam? where did that come from?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'll play too. I don't think anything involving Dean being a martyr would be considered shocking by fans, but these are written by pr people, not fans, so that might be what it is.

How I think this is going to end is with a complete reversal of the Cain and Abel story. Abel was talking to Lucifer (possibly planning something). Sam picking up with whatever they were planning would complete the reversal of the story and maybe remove the mark. Dean agreeing to that would be shocking.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oh, please no. The fan outcry on how EVIL Sam is to even consider Lucifer would be overwhelming and I really don't want to hear the lectures from Cas, Dean, Jody, Ghost!Bobby, Werewolf Garth, Ghost!Kevin and every other character on how Sam was stupid and arrogant AGAIN. Suddenly Cain's I dealt with Lucifer it to save my brother will be wrong, bad and unsympathetic when Sam does it.

  37. To be honest I thought Cas once he had his grace was gonna be able to help Dean but ehhh, and now this, it seems like Cas is gonna get killed or trapped by metatron some how... But will see can't wait for the next episode

  38. On April 10 Jensen Ackles tweeted a picture of 'Dean' writing a letter on the hood of Impala. The scene takes place in the season finale.

    ReplyDelete
  39. How about this one; Dean mentioning the band Cowboy Junkies, someone finds a song by the band that mentions angels (a song that wasn't even in the episode) = Destiel.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'm assuming by what Misha said in one of his interviews, that the MoC does get removed, but like was mentioned in Book of the Damned, there will be terrible repercussions from it.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Let's just say that this http://pietoperdition.tumblr.com/post/108409187626/i-didnt-realize-that-waneks-direction-was-so talks about and has links to some of the more....creative ways people see Destiel. At the very least look at the link here http://obsessionisaperfume.tumblr.com/post/104217022707/greekedtext-elizabethrobertajones where the poster says that every Destieler saw that the show was confirming the ship in the wallpaper. It's interesting to say the least.

  42. Am I the only one who is shipping Cas and Crowley?????? They just seem so great when working together!

    ReplyDelete
  43. So Dean makes a decision that will change Sam's life, again! All Dean does is make decisions that change or affect Sam's life, usually negatively. And Sam will have no choice but to live with it. Again.

I'm actually laughing at the idea that they're still touting this show as a close brotherly bond. Dean himself said it best. It's a dictatorship.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I totaly agree!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yes but people love the romantized idea of the brothers relationship and that Dean,s decisions are always in Sam's best interest . My idea of the relationship crawled away in shame when reality dawned on me esp after last season and how Sam was treated over what was done to him.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Tend to agree. Neither Demon Dean nor MoC Dean has been a threat to normal civilians. MoC Dean's hurting Dark Charlie doesn't count as a victim because 1) DC was not all Charlie (and not a civilian) and 2) when 'balanced' Charlie forgave him. In AAB, teen Tina decided this was her second chance at becoming an adult she would actually like. In the upcoming 10.21 Dean isn't even in the same place as Charlie (at least it doesn't like it) in the promo where she's confronted by the Stynes so it's doubtful that Dean harms her in anyway.
Dean does however get mad at Sam. And per the description of 10.22 Dean goes on a rampage - likely hunting down the evil Styne family and maybe getting captured.
As others have said, the writers have teased that MoC Dean was a ticking time bomb and when he 'went off' no one would be safe. The Cain episode reinforced this idea with Cain telling Castiel "The Mark thirsts for all kinds".
I could be wrong - there's 3 eps left this season - but I doubt the writers ever had any intention of allowing either Demon Dean or MoC Dean irrevocably harm a true innocent. Also doubt - but could be wrong - if the writers keep 'Dean Winchester' essentially immortal (until 'cured') for the rest of the series. So, I agree, I think he'll be cured of the MoC but something more evil will take it's place. Don't have a strong enough speculation on what/who that may be.
I also want some payoff for the writers having dirty Sam again in trying to save Dean by making alliances with dark characters (Rowena for one, maybe a few more) the last third of this season. In the promo a Styne tells Dean the BotD is protected by a spell and cannot be destroyed. Even if Sam had obeyed Dean and tried to burn it - I don't know quite what would have happened as the BotD is a powerful spellbook - he couldn't have destroyed it. Since the BotD was calling to the Mark to have Dean grab it and do bad stuff, my best guess is that the EvilBook Fallout will have a role in the final moments.

  47. I remember that as one example of starting a tizzy among the Destiel fans but I can't recall what episode it was from. Adding to percyowner's finds there were (I read) numerous S8 Destiel Fan metas written that the changing hues of Naomi's office over multiple episodes meant Destiel would be canon by the end of S8. Numerous fans on twitter asked the set designer (Jerry Wanek maybe?) if that's what it 'meant' and were answered back something 'Nope, Easter/Passover colors'.

    ReplyDelete
  48. My brain is literally exploding after reading those links! (pushforcanon) Destiel fans (not D/C fans content to have their 'ship' confined to fanfic) have been making flowcharts for years to convince themselves (and the SPN producers) that ratings would improve if Destiel was made canon. Here's one of the recent charts (and for the record, I don't like doing this - even though they're 'Anon' to most of us I would not like someone linking my tweets to a 'non-friendly environment'): http://quantumbanana.tumblr.com/post/117873655166/x-cetera-gather-round-yall-im-about-to-tell
chris684 is absolutely correct and the canon Destiel pushers have caused the show to cut down the scenes where Dean and Cas are alone to avoid accusations of queerbaiting and this puts a limit on how Dean and Cas can even exchange friendly touches. My understanding is there was a lot of 'happy dancing' from that community in 10.20 Cas patted Dean's back or vice versa when entering the motel door where Claire and Sam were (10.20 is on my 'not worth rewatching list'). It's absurd to 'read' too much into that - Sam, Dean and Cas are all touchy-feely guys who express affection by 'pats' or light punches - very typical friend or sibling actions, especially between males.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yeah. He mentioned there was a hidden pattern on Naomi's office wall that no one picked up on. And every jumped to the bi flag colors, which Wanek said was unintentional, he was talking about a cross pattern and the color of the wall was the lighting dept.

    ReplyDelete
  50. oh lol, never really understood that pic,but thanks..

    ReplyDelete
  51. The links percysowner provided cite Jerry Wanek as 'intentionally supporting canon destiel with set decorating' where it's Wanek's intention or not.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Rowena is so annoying, every time I see her I want to jump in the tv and kill her myself!
