lol!, funny how Diogo Morgado came from playing Jesus to playing Lucifer, and he's doing pretty well, now I don't feel so bad for finding him attractive, I still don't get the show very well, but I'm giving it a chance.
if you don't mind my asking, what is Heroes Syndrome? i never watched the show but i've heard many people refer to it and i have no idea what they're talking about lol
I wonder how they all end up meeting. I'm guessing Vera and Joshua meet at hospital where he'll probably stop her from Killing that woman. I wonder when Erin will let Raul know that she's also a fugitive.
Well I do like that the second episode seems to be moving things along at a faster pace. I think next week will be more in tune with what the show is actually aiming to be.
LOL well that the show had over 20 or 30 regulars and they were spread all over the world and it took over a season for the whole cast to get together and even then they separated again. They just had too many characters on the show and that's always a risk shows run into when they have an ensemble cast
Well I think in S1 Heroes goal was to keep things separated in the beginning and I think they actually managed to keep a good balance between their stories and their huge cast, even when things, stories and people weren't in the same space.
On occasion, yes, it moved the story along at a slower pace, but they knew when and how to compensate for that. That show went downhill in S2, and the reasons why it went downhill were because it lost track of what it story was (or didn't know what it was to begin with, but I digress).
Here from the moment they've chosen to bring everyone together from episode 2, the two are not comparable.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Loved the pilot .Looking forward to seeing how they all are together.
ReplyDeleteReally love the promos for The Messengers, they are doing an amazing job with them
ReplyDeleteLOL Vera and Peter
ReplyDeleteAmazing promo. Really intriguing and witty at the same time. They should've aired a "What's to come promo!" just to intrigue people a bit more.
ReplyDeleteNext week's episode looks sooo good! I can't wait to see the Angels meet up for the first time and see more of their powers. Should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteOoooh yes! Like a 1 minute promo or so on what's ahead of season 1. I have a feeling it's going to get even more crazier :)
ReplyDeleteBut this isn't The Flash, so no 1 minute promo.
ReplyDeleteI'm certainly happy with what we got, the extended promo looks amazing.
yeah same here, i miss those Look-Ahead promos
ReplyDeletei hope the show doesn't suffer from the Heroes Syndrome

ReplyDeleteLooks better than the pilot. Here's hoping.
ReplyDelete"Hi?! I'm an atheist" LMAOOOO. This show feels different and cool. I'm gonna keep watching!

ReplyDeleteLiked how we met characters in episode one...episode two had them moving forward fast! Great!
ReplyDeleteIt IS good! Why let it go?
ReplyDeleteEpisodes 1 unfolded nicely into episode 2.
ReplyDeleteKeep watching!
I'll watch episode 2 tomorrow. Usually when i don't like a pilot of a new series i watch til episode 3 to make my final decision.
ReplyDeleteThe ratings are shitty and CW already renewed so many shows. Doubtful the show will come back for another season.
