    Someone explain it me how when Olivia woke up last week Russell was not in bed with her. So Shonda wants me to believe..what...that Russell stayed in in Olivia's bed while she was at the White House planning a gay wedding and wearing Fitz's forever ring. I guess causal anonymous sex is the new cure for PTSD.


    The ratings have been down for the last 2 weeks because the writing and story lines in season 4 are boring and disconnected. Is there a writers strike going on that we don't know about. I think I'll watching the Blacklist Thursday night.

    Geez. Did you listen to the dialogue? The guy is probably an agent or someone after Olivia from another group. He recognized all the lanuages she was screaming in her sleep. Olivia probably speaks more foreign languages and I'm sure that wasn't part of her middle, secondary or college education. He knew her name. He lied about his name. I would say he's a danger to Liv. That was the point of the scene. It's not a romantic relationship. It does however raise questions about who or what Olivia is.

    Did read what I wrote? That doesn't address what I commented on about the story line. It's disconnected from last week's episode. I could tell when she was at the bar that he knew her name because he gave a weird look when Olivia said "Alex". I bet you didn't catch that.

    Maybe the writing has gotten lazy because viewers like you won't ask logical and obvious questions.

    Yes I did read what you wrote and yes like you I figured Franklin was not just a dude picking up a woman for a leg spread. here's the thing, Olivia went to a bar to find someone to screw, found Franklin, a stranger, took him home and screwed him. Do you really think that kind of person really cares who's in their house when they're not there? It appears the writing is "lazy" because it is not about the Olitz you have come to love. Olivia can still wear the Fitz ring, screw other dudes and when time permits screw Fitz. The point is the ring Olivia wears for Fitz has as much meaning as the marriage license he signed with Mellie. I imagine you'll get an Olitz passionate kiss or screw before the season ends. Just hang in there.

    Olivia ist not married. Fitz can't and didn't ask her to be celibate and wait for him like a none. He wants her to be happy. If have sex with "other dudes" as you say pleased her, he is ok even he is sad and the fact "drives him crazy". He knows you can't control a life of a growth single woman when you are married. It's not fair and he knows that. He also knows that "other dudes" or not, Olivia loves him. If he wants to fix the mess, he has to divorce even Olivia approve it or not.

    He get your Olitz hate but that's was not my point. Scandal used to be about a smart strong political fixer and that's not the case anymore. The writing is lazy because the links between episodes and story lines don't make sense.


    I was fan because of the writing. The ratings are dropping. They should get back to what made show great in the beginning.

    Actually, I don't hate Olitz. I think it is a necessary part of the Olivia Pope story. I responded to your post which was mostly about Olitz. Here's the thing about people who criticize the writers. Have you seen their storyboard? Do you know what themes they are going for? The writing has been excellent from start to present. Jake is my favorite character and he's about to go batshit cray cray. Do I want to see my favorite character go there? Of course not but that's part of the story they are telling about Olivia Pope. There were a lot of cool and amazing things that have happened in S4. I think a major theme of this season has got to be WHO IS OLIVIA POPE? Is she just a political fixer or is she something else? I'm guessing she's something else.

    What did he do to Edison? He helps him been the leader of the opposition. If he were a bad guy , he would have sent Jake to death. Even if you are ok or not, he had all objectives reasons to do so.

    Yes. He received a set of photos because Fitz was having Olivia watched even before Jake came on the scene. We see Fitz looking at the photos enraged as he looks from one photo to the next of Olivia and edison's intimate moments. He then places Edison under investigation according to Edison and Fitz. He eventually relents so he can use Edison to acheive his political agenda. Fitz beat Jake to a blody pulp while he was restrained because Jake was taunting him with the time he spent in the Sun with Olivia. Fitz has always been threatened by Jake and Olivia's feelings for Jake. This is not something I surmised because I love the Jake character. This is something that was in the dialogue and montages.

I see and many other viewers with me, a man in love hurting by what he saw. After that, he decided to move on for good and let Olivia be happy. He helps him been the leader of the opposition. poor Olivia she was so disappointed.

    "Fitz was having Olivia watched even before Jake came on the scene." Yes, you can't be in relation due to your crushing responsibilities and not try to protect the person you are with. Olivia knows that. See in season 1 after the death of Amanda Tanner.

    I didn't see where Fitz is been threatened by Olivia's feeling for Jake. He asks Olivia is she has feelings for him to know exactly where their relation can go or not. After Vermont, Season 3 episode 8, they decided not to lie to each other anymore even if it's hurt. (You can hear that in season 3 episode 13, when she confess to Fitz about the murder of Daniel Douglas by Sally.)

    Olivia ist not married. Fitz can't and didn't ask her to be celibate and wait for him like a none. He wants her to be happy.     But Jake and Fitz has a long past before Olivia. There were Navy's buddies. Buddies don't touch your wife or the woman you love. Fitz is angry and disappointed with Jake, but not been threatened by him. Olivia and him are sharing the kind of love no one can compete. Even Jake know sthat. She can say " It's me you love to ride etc... season 4 episode 1. He knows, is the replacement, and will always be.

    Jake or not Jake, Fitz and Olivia loves each other. It's wrong, i know. Jake and Olivia spent 2 or 3 months alone in an island, they are single, free persons. Jake is very attractive. Why didn't they built a real relation? Everybody know the response, even we like it or not. Her love for FTG III. Even Jake knows that

    I wish Olivia will have a love interest. A new man. Not a person who always wants first what Fitz have. He said it himself in season 3 episode 21? A man who has any revenge to accomplish, any bitterness, and complex towards Fitz.
    Otherwise, give we a presidential divorce.

    Jake is so envious about what the rich "flyboy" have. Money, Position, a family, and an intelligent and powerful intelligent woman who ist not his wife and who loves him. I don't detest Jake. Sometimes, i forget about him, and sometimes, he makes me pity. He needs a woman who really loves him.

    Well first of all Fitz is a married man. That's his jump off position. He is supposed to honor his vows or dissolve them not at his convienence So but when determines he can no longer honor them. Fitz doesn't have anything to offer Liv but stolen moments. She doesn't really know what he would be like day to day because their sexing takes place in a sort of catch as catch can. like you said Jake and Olivia are single. they can relate in a full and complete way. liv tried to do that by setting up a ritual at dinner time called "sharing their day." Liv told her dad she and Jake's relationship was "great." I don't think Jake is jealous of "Boy Fitz". Jake told Fitz that he always has to have someone else clean up his messes. Rowan told Fitz the same thing. Fitz is weak. Mellie and Olivia having been cleaning up Fitz' crap ever since he's been in office. i don't think Olivia loves Fitz. Early on I thought she thought she loved him but now I can see Olivia is working. Why she is having this affair with Fitz doesn't make any sense - she's smart, beautiful, classy, polished and could have her pick of men but she settles for an affair in which she accused him of treating her like a common whore. And then there's Mellie always calling her a whore. Liv sort of hinted at the reason for the affair when she told Fitz "I was your mistress because you needed that." That doesn't sound like love. That sounds like work. I have this theory Olivia is a B613 agent but doesn't know it. Watch the monologue between Liv and Cyrus in the S2 finale. Recall B613 agents are not allowed to have any relationships, families.

    A man who doesn't have "anything to offer Liv but stolen moments." ? My respond is love, deep love, passion, comprehension without words, beyond words. You are not Olivia and don't try to reed her by your eyes and throught your standards. Olivia its not mad or idiot ok?



    For you she is working? She particularly enjoys her work with Fitzgerald Thomas Grant the III. It seem a very very job.... If all employees were so dedicated , their employers would be delighted. Rowan doesn't seem to joyful. The replacement neither.

    The "common whore" statement are Olivia's words, not mine. Rewatch Molly, You In Danger Girl.
    Oh please, Olivia doesn't love Fitz. He's her work, not her passion. I only follow the dialogue and action. I'm not some love sick teeny bopper who doesn't know the difference between adult sex and adult love. Having sex in the WH kitchen is not love. Liv is Olivia is not Fitz' employee. She's working for someone else, probably her father, but that hasn't been revealed as of yet. The other thing that has not been revealed is why Rowan told Cyrus Liv can't be with Fitz for national security reasons.
