Wow that episode was breathtaking. And Just Like That All the Grayson's are Gone Conrad Grayson- Murdered by David Daniel Grayson- Murdered Saving Emily aka Amanda from Kate Victoria Grayson- Killed Herself by blowing up her Manor R.I.P I LOVE YOU GUYS
CAN'T BELIEVE VICTORIA IS GONE. She's my favorite character of Revenge! :( I'm SOOO SAD! If she would die it should be in the season finale! That was awful
Oh My God! I didn't expect anyone to actually die tonight. Ben is now an enemy. I'm still a little suspicious that this was all part of a master plan between Margaux and Victoria, but at the same time you could see Victoria's good bracelet on the arm of the chair as the camera panned out. And omg the throne was back!!
I woke my mom up saying wtf and omg! Lol. And she watches Revenge so I had to calm down cause I didn't want to spoil it to her lmao. She's gonna freak out too xD.
That Nolan and Emily talk at the beggining "You're not gonna loose me, We're a team" melted my heart.
After four seasons. Its about damn time Victoria has started to loosing it.
Louise... That sneaky bitch i loved her tonight. I was starting to belive she set everything up just to Victoria deliver the pendrive.
Those final moments with Mason's speech where amazing.
I cant belive Victoria is gone. I honestly cant. Like a good captain she went down on her ship. Grayson Manor was hers and if she had to die, she took it with her. I remember she said to Conrad once that she will be dead before leaving the Manor forever.
Madeleine Stowe...Victoria Grayson Emily VanCamp...Emily Thorne Gabriel Mann...Nolan Ross Nick Wechsler...Jack Porter James Tupper...David Clarke Karine Vanasse...Margaux LeMarchal Brian Hallisay...Ben Hunter Elena Satine...Louise Ellis Marie Paquim...Inmate Tiffany Thomas...Guard
Victoria is not dead, because she's listed to appear in the last few episodes of the season. So I think that she's faking her death to get Emily blamed for it and arrested, as we've seen in the picture that Emily Vancamp put up on twitter.
While I don't have much faith either of them to think of it, the pendrive is probably inadmissible though not sure because she was married to Nolan at the time. But a set up like that is possibly the only way to get Emily, to bad the writers failed to make Victoria more sympathetic for this episode. Hopefully, Emily does not get a happy ending, if only because it would not fit the story they've written.
It left me numb and speechless. That is when you realize how much you have come to love a character. Madeleine Stowe has been brilliant as Victoria Grayson. This episode was explosive and I can't wait for next week. Revenge has truly been must see TV.
Some thoughts: I loved the episode and felt that everything they did worked really well but I think the episode suffered a lot from over hype. While indeed a great episode, I think it had artificially elevated my expectations a bit too much going in. I was expecting another Abduction, which is one of my favorites of the show, and while that vibe was there, it was just in the very final moments. The rest of the stuff was great too, but the over hype prevented me from enjoying it as much as I would normally. Expectations do play a role - for instance, for the most part (last scene excluded) I was more satisfied watching Exposure last week which was supposed to be just a clip show. Also, Mason being the return is the most underhwhelming thing ever since we all knew he was going to be back so it was not mind blowing at all or even surprising like everyone had promised. I was expecting real game changers like Kara or Conrad. Oh well. This is not to say I didn't enjoy it. I really did. And obviously the finality feel is all there, and it was an amazing hour but I wish the had lowered a bit my expectations.
You can say that about any series though, but that doesn't mean you should drag any of them out longer than it should. The main selling point is Emily getting her revenge against the Graysons, once the main storyline is over, there's no point for most of the viewers to stick around.
This. This. This! THIS! THIS IS THE REVENGE I LOVE!
This is why Ted Sullivan is the writer I love the most; everything snapped into focus, and Revenge delivered the one death I thought I would never see until the very end of the show. This was an amazingly entertaining, tight scrip and well developed hour of television, brilliantly plotted and amazingly executed.
Seriously, "Burn" may become my very favorite Revenge episode, one that has ignited my love for the show as it once was. Now, no matter what I think of season 4, "Burn" will be a reminder that the Revenge writers managed to pull more surprises and more mindbending moments even during the shakiest season of the show.
Now the show will fly high as we enter the final episodes and Victoria's suicide will only be a way to drag Emily down, but will she succeed?
This is the best route they could've taken to end the show: proving that Revenge is cold and bold
If anything, the last few episodes have been wrapping things up, each feeling more final than the last. You can always drag on any show, that doesn't mean that you should.
Not to mention as a series regular with only 3 episodes remaining, her name would already continue appearing in the credits however her character ended up.
Yeah cause ABC would put out a press release for 2 episodes without Madeline Stowe listed. Everyone would have expected the death. Plus she's a series regular on the show.
I don't believe it. Won't believe it unless we get to the final credits of the series finale and there is no Victoria. But as a dastardly plan....it's an excellent one. I'm having a difficult time remembering anything else in the ep. :-)
Amazing episode, enjoyed it but I'm just not believing Victoria would go out like this hatred for Emily or not, I no she moped the entire episode, did she want Emily this badly, to answer my own question sure she did, but like this I can't belive it as for Ben he's back on my $ hit list!!!!
WTF?!?!? How could they have killed Victoria three episodes before the season(series) finale? She was fun to watch, but I would have prefered Victoria dying at the hands of Emily. So, what will happen now?? Emily will go to jail? Is someone dying in the season(series) finale? Ugh, I´have no idea
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
What the heck!! I'm devastated!

ReplyDeleteVictoria may appear as memories of her old scenes or corpse too! hah.
ReplyDeletei agree with you, it doesnt have to end, story wise there are many avenues to take however the fact is alot of people may not care anymore
ReplyDeleteHolly crap, the queen is dead! Dude!!

I think Vicky might be alive still. We shall see.
ReplyDeleteI think so.
ReplyDeleteI think she is only listed in the last 3 episodes because she is a series regular.

ReplyDeleteYeah cause ABC would put out a press release for 2 episodes without Madeline Stowe listed. Everyone would have expected the death. Plus she's a series regular on the show.
ReplyDeleteDumbfounded...
ReplyDeleteThe hell just happened? Victoria - now I REALLY HATE YOU! How could you've robbed us of 3 episodes of amazing screentime feat. Madeleine Stowe? XD
ReplyDeleteOh I didn't know that. I am happier now then! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat would be so shocken hopefully we find out next week
ReplyDeleteI don't believe it. Won't believe it unless we get to the final credits of the series finale and there is no Victoria. But as a dastardly plan....it's an excellent one. I'm having a difficult time remembering anything else in the ep. :-)

ReplyDeleteI'm not okay
ReplyDeleteWTF?!?!? How could they have killed Victoria three episodes before the season(series) finale? She was fun to watch, but I would have prefered Victoria dying at the hands of Emily. ReplyDeleteShe confirmed it, she's gone http://tvline.com/2015/04/20/revenge-victoria-dies-madeleine-stowe-series-finale-spoilers/
ReplyDeleteThe actress said that victoria will appear in flashbacks, I'm assuming that's why she's still listed.
ReplyDeleteOh okay. I will miss her. I loved victoria grayson
ReplyDeleteIn her interview, she mentions that she will appear in flashbacks.
ReplyDeleteI hope that "big return that will blow our minds" wasn't Mason
ReplyDeleteIt probably was
ReplyDeletei can disgree with you there, but you do make a good point
ReplyDeleteAlso "Burn" was episode 4x20...
ReplyDeleteThat was what I meant.
ReplyDeleteBut the date it aired was almost April 20th (420) and it is EPISODE 4x20, and called Burn. So many coincidences.
