Great flashbacks and interesting case. Henry and Lucas in the club was fun.
That look Henry gave Jo when the group was all together…Oh, so the writers are indeed going there and even Abe's a shipper apparently (Otherwise, why is he so interested in who Jo dates?).
I thought it was another very good ep. Looks like Henry finally realized he has feelings for Jo. I'm wondering when she will find out the truth about him.
Overall another cute and interesting episode. Curious to see where Abigail disappeared to, now. They couldn't get a better person to play young Abe than David Krumholtz IMO. Lucas getting all excited to hang out with Henry was adorable! Also it was nice to see the Lt. be a bit more involved in the case. I feel they haven't been using Lorraine to her full capabilities. She's a great actress, and I feel she might be wasting away.
In somewhat the same vein: I'm surprised they're also under-utilizing Cuba so much. He's a pretty big name considering.... you'd think they'd give him more to do.
Such a fun episode! Lucas' scenes were uniformly adorable, and he continues to be one of my favorite parts of the series. The flashbacks were both touching and fascinating, doing a great job of building mystery around Abigail's exit. And yes, I really did love the little hint that Henry's starting to feel a twinge of jealously over Jo's new gent! Highlight for this episode: David Krumholtz was PERFECT as young Abe. So perfect in fact that a buddy watching with me thought at first that he actually WAS Judd Hirsch in heavy makeup! I really hope they can bring him back to reprise that role in the future. If the show does somehow manage to get a second season (please!), I'd love to see David become a regular.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteyep and LOVED it!!! i think Abe's pretty fatherly towards her
ReplyDeletedid David Krumholtz and Judd play father and son in Num3rs? because WOW do they look alike
ReplyDeleteoh then VERY nice casting, although was he in a big suit? because i don't remember him being that big in Partners
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'm the only one thinking this but Cuba Gooding is the worst actor ever.
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode, and awesome Numb3rs reunion. But who the hell is responsible for this nose job on David, it looked like some kid made it!
ReplyDeleteAnd interesting mystery at the end.
Never watched Numb3rs so I don't know.
ReplyDeleteI do think they gave DK a fake prosthetic nose to make him look more like Judd though. Still it was a good choice by default!
definitely!
