Ok i badly wanted to vote them meeting Gideon, but that didn't happen. I voted Eobard talking to Barry while in the coma. It was so sinister i loved it. I've been waiting for a long time for them to show Barry's FB sequences while he was in a coma. I knew they'd show Joe and Iris, but it NEVER crossed my mind that they'd show Eobard there!! That was a huge surprise. To make him the one that "took care of Barry" while he was out. WOW! And he did it just so he could kill him later. Him touching the IV fluids, and talking of watching Barry grow up since birth, (the soccer games, the science fairs) and the restraint, omg the retraint but yearing in his voice as he spoke. Man that was pure gold. Yeah that was definitely my favorite scene. Tom owned that scene.
it was an episode filled with great big scenes. But the one I liked the most was a small and short one. When Wells was wheeling down the hallway, driving to meed Cisco. He stopped for a moment and took the glasses off. You could simply taste the huge ammount of regret he felt about what he would be forced to do next and Cavanagh totally sold it.
When the trio meet Gideon....the episode was really good overall and though I love WestAllen ,I really didnt like how she treated Barry in the previous episode.Makes me wonder how she will let him know she knows he is the Flash.Felt bad for Eddie though,he is already on a path to lose when it comes to Iris and Cisco ..always provides the comic relief for an episode.
My favorite scene is when Wells/Eobard was talking to Barry while he was in a coma, because I love when Wells is talking about watching Barry grow up. You can see that Wells is conflicted about Barry because he says that he never saw any trace of the man that Barry would become, a man that Wells for some reason hates. I just love the way that he seems to be conflicted about his feelings for Barry in that scene. Can't wait to find out why Wells/Eobard hates Barry so much, because I really can't imagine anyone hating Barry.
I would have to say the moment that Cisco has to, for a second time, face Dr. Wells. He is proving himself to be a vital member of the team and his fear was palpable in both the first time he faced him and the second. He was wonderful.
And secondly, the scene where Dr. Wells speaks to Barry while he was in a coma. That was simply amazing. The power he holds just knowing how things will turn out gives him great advantages, one Barry will need to better understand in order to face off and tip the scale. I look forward to watching it.
Hopefully Iris will be given more to do now that she knows who he is. She's proved she is invaluable character given what she did to help in 1x19 and 1x21.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
When Iris realized Barry was The Flash I was like about damn time I ship them together more than I Felicity and Oliver crazy right.

ReplyDeleteBarry calling Caitlin "Cait" and Barry, Caitlin and Cisco meet Gideon
ReplyDeleteum....THE WHOLE EPISODE!
ReplyDeleteDid he recall that he hated/regretted to kill Cisco, so he let the shape shifter out to make his escape and ensure that he didn't have to kill Cisco?
ReplyDeleteTo me RF is played well as an evil guy with a great deal of humanity. That breaking down is the only downside with how fast the show has moved.
ReplyDeleteno he doesn't remember the other timeline, so this was all new to him
