THAT WAS EPIIIIC! CAN'T WAIT! But why did they have to say that the Wells reveal is in the last 5 minutes? I will be anxious the whole episode and I won't concentrate on the time travel.
"Been waiting to use this since week one" "Someone was rocking a unitard" oooh Cisco lol "Lisa, Flash. Flash, Lisa" Just because you're a villain doesn't mean you lose your manners hahahaha
OH MY GOD.. That was awesome. How much I missed Cisco and his happy face. Barry baby don't go back in time. Time travel never worked well for anyone unless you are harry potter. Captain Cold's introduction of Flash to his baby sister made me squeel like a little girl. LOL. Miss the show. Can't wait for next week.
oh yeah! they're in the same universe, so if Barry goes back in time and changes it he could mistakenly change the events in Arrow too not just in his life, whoa mind blown LOL
Cisco: "You'd have to be a weather wizard. Ewwww been waiting since week 1 to use that."
Well Cisco, i've been waiting since this show was announced for him to come on the show! Aww my little Peyton playing GG. This will be fun! I swear the last shot has to be him going to the past. OH MY GOD! Please let it be true!
Indeed, if Barry's mom is never murdered Barry won't have a reason to travel to Starling City in search of "the unexplained". Meaning he won't be around to mix up that coctail that saved Oliver's life in "Three Ghosts"....
Omg, who you tellin'? I thinking boring is an understatement! It was like waiting for the Ice Age to melt. Ughh. I don't watch anything on ABC. But I had shows on FOX and CBS, to keep me busy. But oh man even that didn't help me from thinking about our CW shows for too long.
I like someone's suggestion on alternative Arrow where Oliver died on the island but his dad survived and he became Arrow and his mom became the Dark Archer.
Lol I think that was mine. Yeah that's straight at of flashpoint. Where Bruce dies and Thomas Wayne becomes a dark, murderous gun-toting alcoholic Batman and Martha becomes the Joker.
Someone like Linda Park should be written with respect. Any character that is so important, as she is with Wally West's Flash, should be written as if they're actually important. She's being written as some random love interest like McKenna Hall back in S1 of Arrow.
She's being written as intelligent, capable, hardworking, kind, fun and ambitious I don't think it gets more respectful. If you're referring to her serving as a temporary love interest, I can get your problem, though I still don't find it disrespectful as Barry clearly cares about her and she isn't just some one-night stand or fling.
You might want to work on your redirection/ deflection there. Sure, I'll give it a go. She was able to quickly discern and observe that Barry loved Iris, which demonstrates intelligence. She commented on her having little free time, working a lot, and being in a incredibly competitive field which demonstrates she works hard and wants to do well. She compliments Barry's singing, is very polite and let's him down gently when she thinks Barry isn't in to her. She likes to make bets over taco spicyness which shows she is relaxed and can have fun on dates (also shown by her going bowling with Barry, Iris and Eddie and by her engaging in sexual activity with Barry which is considered a fun activity by many). But yeah no they're really just ripping her apart. Making her out to be a terrible awful person. Really?
None of that was telling, those are all actions and behaviour she shows.Great counter arguments against my points and evidence. You have a point (unless the writers keep her around as a recurring friend to air is or Barry) regarding temporal love interest, but you really haven't given any evidence that she hasn't been well portrayed at all.
My evidence was a character taking actions. Yours was well non-existent. At this point I can't tell sometimes if you're just a spectacularly lazy troll.
Is this where you also say it's totally fine that a series isn't accurate to a character who's meant to be a boxer?
You've listen non-existent points of something supposedly portraying certain attributes by bringing up a rather lazy point of making a bet over spicy tacos. No need to have any counterpoints to that.
One thing either show has really failed to master in casting at the very least is the right chemistry between characters. To me Olicity definitely needs to stop being shoved down our throats and Iris will end up being Barry's wife but at this point it almost seems very "bleh". It would be unbelievable to me.
I think "Olcitity" is being shoved down our throats because Oliver/Felicity has much more chemistry than Oliver/Laurel. And the same goes for Barry/Iris but at least there are moments where the two have great chemistry. It's nothing like Oliver/Laurel which is sometimes pathetic.
AnnoDomini that ha nothing to do with this and undermines nothing I've said about Linda, and you have offered nothing evidence wise to counter argue her portrayal. You're bitching for the sake if bitching. You don't like that she's Barry love interes for now fine, but you have nothing to claim it's disrespectful other than your liking of Linda as Wally's love interest. Unlike you I have have character moments, you have stubborn bias and denial.
Graydon that has everything to do with this topic because you continue to have the most hilarious replies I've ever read on this site because your points are simply hilarious. Your points for Linda Park is MAKING A BET ON SPICY TACOS for crying out loud.
You really messed the point. It was that they portrayed her well. To which you gave nothing and completely missed basically everything I've said. We're done here.
I've said we're done but you continue to reply. I guess you're not tired of talking about Linda Park making bets on SPICY TACOS that gives her such characterization.
Lol, you really do have no argument. Ironic that you continue to respond such you don't have an actual rebuttal. I say we should end this, it's gratuitous.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Ooooh me excited.
ReplyDeleteThe new Weather Wizard! Both Tricksters! Golden Glider! Time travel! Oh my god I'm so pumped for these next few episodes.
ReplyDeleteSigh. I can't see it!!!
ReplyDeleteoh snap, this is gonna be so awesome !
ReplyDeleteTHAT WAS EPIIIIC! CAN'T WAIT! But why did they have to say that the Wells reveal is in the last 5 minutes? I will be anxious the whole episode and I won't concentrate on the time travel.
ReplyDelete"Been waiting to use this since week one"
"Someone was rocking a unitard" oooh Cisco lol
"Lisa, Flash. Flash, Lisa" Just because you're a villain doesn't mean you lose your manners hahahaha
When Barry was showing his power, that's Iris next to him or am I mistaken?
ReplyDeleteAWESOMESAUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Cisco and who knew Cold had manners LOL "Lisa, Flash, Flash, Lisa"
ReplyDeleteOf course if you're gonna kill someone or do something sinister you should be respectful about it.
ReplyDeleteDammit Barry do not go back in time. Everyone will be f*cked if you do.
ReplyDeleteright?! just because you're a villain doesn't mean you weren't raised right LOL
ReplyDeleteHe's more the true Weather Wizard.
ReplyDeletehe's going to learn this the hard way isn't he?
ReplyDeleteIKR? We are not animals lol
ReplyDeleteYeah, it won't go well. I'm curious as to how much of an impact it will have given Arrow shares a universe and timeline.
ReplyDeleteLol, no we are not.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD..
ReplyDeleteSuch a polite young man!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't he? Haha
ReplyDeleteYou're correct.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah! they're in the same universe, so if Barry goes back in time and changes it he could mistakenly change the events in Arrow too not just in his life, whoa mind blown LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL Harry Potter
ReplyDeleteTechnically it only works if you are Hermione Grenger lol
ReplyDeleteFinally watched it. Oh. My. God!
ReplyDeleteCisco: "You'd have to be a weather wizard. Ewwww been waiting since week 1 to use that."
Well Cisco, i've been waiting since this show was announced for him to come on the show!

be around to mix up that coctail that saved Oliver's life in "Three
Ghosts"....
I'm dying for ALL our CW shows to come back. I'm glad tonight, the hiatus is SOMEWHAT over.
ReplyDeleteOLIVERRRRRRRR
ReplyDeleteTrue. What would Harry do without Hermione? Most probably would have died the first year.
ReplyDeleteholy crap! if Barry doesn't become The Flash he won't just change history, Oliver would die!!! WOW MIND COMPLETELY BLOWN UP LOL
ReplyDeletegot that right!
ReplyDeleteButterfly Effects are terrible things.
ReplyDeleteTrue. Also his glasses would always be broken.
ReplyDeleteThis was some boring two weeks. CBS and CW both were missed. Thank god for ABC. I can't wait for Originals today.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think of this and I echo Ivan. Mind blown.
ReplyDeleteyeah they are
ReplyDeletei actually though The Originals was back NEXT week
ReplyDeleteEven worse if the show indulged in the Flashpoint storyline.
ReplyDeleteWell unless you're Grodd... in which case you are an animal...
ReplyDeleteOmg, who you tellin'? I thinking boring is an understatement! It was like waiting for the Ice Age to melt. Ughh. I don't watch anything on ABC. But I had shows on FOX and CBS, to keep me busy. But oh man even that didn't help me from thinking about our CW shows for too long.
ReplyDeleteWhich is why he was rude when he killed the General. I love that the show is staying true to the characters LOL
ReplyDeleteso how long until Arrow get the preview of future episode.......I guess sometime this week
ReplyDeleteThat would be nice to see some effect even if it's only for one episode., like a crossover.
ReplyDeleteArrow is still my favorite DC series, but man....The Flash has been so phenomenal in its first season. The only thing I've hated is Linda Park.
ReplyDeleteI like someone's suggestion on alternative Arrow where Oliver died on the island but his dad survived and he became Arrow and his mom became the Dark Archer.
ReplyDeleteso a Flahpoint Paradox deal? except instead of Bruce's father it's OLIVER's father?
ReplyDeleteWally West fan?
ReplyDeleteNo. Just not a fan of how she's been written so far. She's far better than to be written as just some ditzy love interest.
ReplyDeleteYuppp.
ReplyDeleteIo can't see it
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!
ReplyDeleteLol I think that was mine. Yeah that's straight at of flashpoint. Where Bruce dies and Thomas Wayne becomes a dark, murderous gun-toting alcoholic Batman and Martha becomes the Joker.
ReplyDeleteSo she should be a non-ditzy (though I don't think she's very ditzy more just fun) love interest?
ReplyDeleteChrome.
ReplyDeleteHey, the General was rude first when he tortured him. Gross allowed him no pleasantries.
ReplyDeletePerhaps I should explain the concept of sarcasm to you :P
ReplyDeletePerhaps I should explain the concept if a joke to you. :D
ReplyDeleteHaha hun that was 3 Days ago. I've seen it now. LOL
ReplyDeleteSomeone like Linda Park should be written with respect. Any character that is so important, as she is with Wally West's Flash, should be written as if they're actually important. She's being written as some random love interest like McKenna Hall back in S1 of Arrow.
ReplyDeleteI'm very familiar with it :P
ReplyDeleteShe's being written as intelligent, capable, hardworking, kind, fun and ambitious I don't think it gets more respectful. If you're referring to her serving as a temporary love interest, I can get your problem, though I still don't find it disrespectful as Barry clearly cares about her and she isn't just some one-night stand or fling.
ReplyDeleteAre you commenting about your fanfic or what? Her appearances does not show her as any of that.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to work on your redirection/ deflection there. Sure, I'll give it a go. She was able to quickly discern and observe that Barry loved Iris, which demonstrates intelligence. But yeah no they're really just ripping her apart. Making her out to be a terrible awful person. Really?
ReplyDeleteTelling does not equate showing. What has been shown is just a seemingly temporal love interest and Linda Park deserves more.
ReplyDeleteNone of that was telling, those are all actions and behaviour she shows.Great counter arguments against my points and evidence. You have a point (unless the writers keep her around as a recurring friend to air is or Barry) regarding temporal love interest, but you really haven't given any evidence that she hasn't been well portrayed at all.

*metaphorical mic drop*
There ya go....I can be cool now.
One thing either show has really failed to master in casting at the very least is the right chemistry between characters. ReplyDeleteI'm done.
I hate arguing with you. You're an awful troll who doesn't understand basic points in arguing. Like actually backing sit up.
ReplyDeleteGot nothing to back up about MAKING A BET OVER SPICEY TACOS.
ReplyDeleteYou really messed the point. It was that they portrayed her well. To which you gave nothing and completely missed basically everything I've said. We're done here.
ReplyDeleteI've said we're done but you continue to reply. I guess you're not tired of talking about Linda Park making bets on SPICY TACOS that gives her such characterization.
ReplyDeleteLol, you really missed the point. I just find this funny now.
ReplyDeleteNot as funny as thinking making a bet on food calls for great characterization. That's the real joke.
ReplyDeleteAh this is sad. You really didn't think of any good rebuttal to my other examples, I take it? Bravo sir bravo.
ReplyDeleteHow many times do I have to say there is no counterpoint for your sad a$$ examples?
ReplyDeleteIronic how you CONTINUE to speak.
Lol, you really do have no argument. Ironic that you continue to respond such you don't have an actual rebuttal. I say we should end this, it's gratuitous.
ReplyDeleteYet you'll continue.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you just want to go out and eat some spicy tacos.
Lol, the hypocrisy is strong with you.
ReplyDeleteWell, you're wrong again.
ReplyDeleteLol, coming from the one who keeps replying yet stating that they're going to stop.
ReplyDeleteWhich is what you said.
ReplyDeleteBut I get it, you're just dying to get the last word in, so you can, sport.
I'm good, you give it a shot you. Good chance for you to finally give your point about how the show's portrayal is unflattering.
ReplyDelete
