I'm actually proud of them. I loved that they sang Take Me To Church. I love that song. And I wanted to hear that on Glee before they ended. I stay away from the spoilers song list every season, b/c I like to be surprised, and I was. I'm confused on this whole Sam/Rachel thing. I mean what? I don't support that relationship at all, but when Rachel called him a "friend" I had to say what? Haven't you guys been dating for weeks? I mean, he doesn't exactly have to have the label of "boyfriend" but when exactly did they call that off? And he didn't even say anything! Then she's kissing Jessie?? I felt that was a thank you kiss, or maybe a, goodbye for now kiss, so I didn't take it too seriously, but what?? = /
As for Sue. Sigh. She's unbelievable. I was glad she actually smiled for them...twice! Then she just tells Will her "diabolical plan." Oh Sue I would expect nothing less. And Rachel, I'm glad she's going back to school. I would've hated if for once, she didn't learn from her mistakes, before this series was over. Glad she made the right choice.
Can I just say what was the point of Sam and Rachel? I'm not gonna lie, I was dreading tuning in but I stuck with this show since season 1, seeing the sectionals brought back some old memories of the show.
I never liked Sam and Rachel being together in the first place. He's been with pretty much every woman on the show at some point, it just didn't feel right.
This episode was much better than the last few. I tend to really enjoy competition episodes though, so it felt like the classic Glee. I loved having Jonathan Groff back as well. But what was really poignant for me was the flashbacks to each New Directions win. The nostalgia had me tearing up, I can only imagine what next week is going to be like. I just hope the finale exceeds my expectations, the show deserves that much.
Agreed. The show does deserve that much, as do we. (The ones who never quit the show). I like your comment, I agree with all of it, and I'd be lying if I say I didn't get a little choked up as well with those flashbacks.
There WAS no point!! I was dreading them, hell still am!! But that whole thing tonight was so out of left field. I'm like wtf just happened? They went from dating/screwing, back to friends, then she kissed another dude. Like what? When did that go down? And they never defined their relationship, but wtf? It didn't seem like this one minute fling. Especially not in Sam's eyes. It left me so confused. Like if you were going to go that route, with no eexplanation whatsoever, then they shouldn't have bothered in the first place.
After a so-so episode last week, I think this one was better, I like the New Direction/The Wablers performance in the Sectionals. The bad part is the Sue Sylvester infinity plans, man she need to stop.
I guess they were the rebounds of eachother. They never sais they were in a relationship, and since he was staying and she going to new York, i kind of assumed that they had called quits. Now, it says something when the most out nowhere moment with Jesse makes more sense than the home samchel thingy. After all, she used to br Jesse's girl. And they do make amaaaaaaazing music together. The smile in ver face when he entered that auditorium was awesome. Was nota expecting the kiss, and yet, go Jesse!!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI lost it on that final scene, it reminded some of the best moments. Who can forget that first sectionals and Quinn having her baby.
ReplyDeleteI hate to new glee club! HATE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat episode brought back some old memories and not just because of the flashbacks. That was the best episode of an awful final season.
