Dig is the best. Seriously. That "if you hurt her, they'll never find your body" made me grin like no other. Also, he is forever the captain of the Olicity ship. And I'm okay with that. Why the FUCK did Ray's big head have to block Dig and Lyla's kiss?? NOT OKAY WITH THAT. Yeah, we've seen it before, but they're married now!! Again...:) I really enjoyed the Deadshot/Lawton flashbacks. It added a nice little bit of background that definitely added to how I felt about his character. Good change and definitely an improvement over last week's Shado cameo flashbacks that had no point to them. Ray, did you really think you could beat him? Yeah, you're high tech but you're stubborn in the worst way and your emotions overpower your judgment in the worst way and YOU'RE NOT OLIVER IN THE WORST WAY. Loved Oliver's quick zap! and dead supersuit. Brilliant. Really, Oliver? Are you really gonna leave Roy knocked out on the wet ground? That's cold...(Just like the weather, haha...ha...) I know I'm a sap, but I loved the Oliver/Felicity interactions and, in this case, how they added to the Felicity/Palmer relationship. I'm fine with it because we all know it won't last. There's no freaking way, especially with the Atom spinoff in development right now. And most of all, Oliver and Felicity are back on speaking terms, friendly terms, kissing on the cheek terms... I don't think he's dead. I don't want him to be. But, just in case, RIP Deadshot. You are by far the best of the squad. GAH THAT CLIFFHANGER!!! I know she's fine but I want to see the fallout NOW.
They blended the storylines together really well tonight. I loved every minute.
We're in for quite the doozy the rest of this season, I can tell. And words cannot express how excited I am about that fact. GO ARROW.
Suicide Squad: The Movie comes along and they kill Deadshot the, without a question, most popular Suicide Squad character and pretty much eliminating the Suicide Squad from Arrow? Coincidence? I think not
They ruined Ray and R/F in this episode. Felicity going back to Ray after he said he doesn't trust her is the most unbelievable thing. because that is SO not the Felicity who I know and love. When will this R/F thing be over so Felicity can stop being thrown under the bus for him? Because honestly, this is getting rather tiring.
Arrow told the Atom that Felicity choice to be with Ray after him and Arsenal had their asses handed to them until the final moment when Arrow got the upper hand.
HE trusted her judgement and proved to her that he's a hero and a true partner and that he truly wants her to be happy even if she's not with him and convinced Ray to stop chasing him and told him that he should trust Felicity's judgement.
They finally gave Ray Palmer some depth! It was a very much needed thing for me to take that character seriously. They adressed the fact that she is with him because he just wants to have a life, unlike some moron that is getting very repetitive.
The episode had two hilarious thing, thou: The Arrow VS The Atom fight and Oliver leaving Roy uncounsious on the street Jajajaja
And finally, THE BEST FOR LAST, The Suicide Squad rides again!!! That was epic. Diggle and Lyla's scene about why they're doing that was great! Deadshot was amazing. His flashbacks were a great inside. He isn't dead, of course. Him and Cupid were hilarious Jajajajaaja
I liked some of it: Diggle wedding, Diggle baby, Suicide Squad. I just love Lyla. I hated some of it: They killed Deadshot (WTF) and they write Cupid as bat shit crazy. I don't like that Quentin is back to hating the Arrow and I absolutely hated a whining Felicity and a sanctimonious, "your mouth is bigger than your abilities" Ray. I'm back to only watching when one of the al Ghul's is on.
No you need to watch to see the difference between the partnership between O/F and R/F. It hurts a little but it's a reminder of what a great team they are.
I liked this episode. I had fun watching. For the most part. But NOOOOO!!! They killed my guy!!! And I feared that. I feared that so much!! Especially when they were showing his flashbacks, which I enjoyed immensely. I want him back!! And boy was Cupid is funny. "My baby, are you okay? You were so brave?" "Oh second thought, I want to die." Awwww. R.I.P. Deadshot. I will miss you. And you did good by Diggs, so glad he toasted to you.
Dyla- They are Sooo cute. My heart beats for them. They had a lovely wedding I wish it could've been longer. But it was great for what it was. I can't believe they're both quitting. God no!! Change your minds please! At least til the season finale. I think that was just a conversation they had with each other, but it didn't sink through yet, otherwise Diggle would've talked to Oliver about it.
Oliver and Diggle- I love their bromance. And it was nice to see Diggle taking out the bottle when it came to him and Oliver needing a drink. It was nice to hear Oliver say....well I can't spell, so I'm not gonna try, but you guys know what CHEERS word I mean. Lol
Ray - My god he's pathetic. LOL That scene was laughable. Just like I said, right BRUCE? Two hits, Oliver hitting him, him hitting the floor. That's exactly what it was. Took off his helmet and everything. Hahahahahaha omg Ray you need to be thanking Oliver right now. He did you a favor. A big one. At least you know to back off which is more than I could say for other people on this show. Train first, then come back. (Just not to this show) Smh..DUH! Did like that office scene though... "Arrow" "Super suit." Haha.
Oliver - That fight scene with the League was badass. I liked that scene. I lost you for a second, but then all I had to do was look down at the proper ass and I found you right away. LOL I'm kidding, I was watching the movements, and found you before that fight was over. You had a very long day today, and somehow you ended up smiling at the end. Getting a kiss from the woman you love and having a drink with the brother that would throw himself in front of a bullet for you. I call that a win. Love you Oliver. You'll get through this.
Olicity- Second week in a row I'm getting what I wanted from them. Thank you Felicity, keep it coming, and my Olicity aching heart, may be 100% healed by the finale.
Maseo you son of a bitch. I knew it. Aww man, I can't wait til Oliver finds out. Also didn't like the LACK of Quentin this episode, but I can understand why. He reallyyyyy means business now. I don't like this at all.
Lastly. Once again..Congrats Diggle and Lyla! It's official. You're stuck with each other now. And Sara's so happy!
Why...I don't quite get why they have thrown the strong Felicity character that we all came to know and love put the window to become a needy chick this season....ack!!!!!
I loved her so much for that and when she said that she left ARGUS I cheered. That was the only thing I hated about her. They make an awesome power couple :D
Brace yourself because it will and things are about to end in a huge and sad way with a new chapter set to begin with Diggle leaving team Arrow and Felicity choosing to relocated with Ray to Ivy Town or wherever well Thea aka Speedy and Malcolm aka The Emerald Archer joining the group.
I just wanted MORE for Felicity. She deserves to have a real relationship with a guy who respects her and trusts her. And I know she'll have that with Oliver, but come on... She deserves better than Ray Palmer
okay, pardon my asking (we are on a delay and my niece "has to know, like for real") but are Oliver and Felicity over/done and we are past the triangle stuff?
What? The girl is having fun with Palmer... Let her! That's what she wants for a relationship and she told Oliver that when he was talking mayor bulls**t.
Your MORE is Oliver and if Ray was Oliver(who has treated her worst than Ray by being an idiot and not letting her decise for herself) what's the point? If Ray is just a bridge for Olicity(wich he is) then you must see some problems like "oh, he doesn't trust her as Oliver does"... THAT THE BLOODY POINT!
ah, I was trying to glean something from the comments for her but its a bit all over the place, and a lot of projecting, so I am not quite sure what is going on in that arena.
so even, from what I can see in the comments, Oliver said he didn't want her and she is sticking with Ray but fans still have hope, yes?
No I'd have been happy if she were with Barry this season. I'm just saying if Felicity HAD to be with someone this season, I'd have chosen Barry or even Eddie if that were a viable option.
It's the main reason actually. I'm very protective of Oliver and that dude has done nothing but mess with Oliver's life since he came to the show and yes that includes stealing his girl. But honestly I've been getting more Olicity feels since Felicity started dating Ray than I had since the premiere lol so right now their relationship is least reason for disliking him lol
I mean, i don't like him because his character is just a fourth wheel in a love triangle and nothing more. Tonight they gave him more depth wich i liked.
Hope they keep doing that. He deserves to be more than a pointless love interest.
Haha Hahahaha omg when Oliver started walking away, I'm like dude, go get your partner. LOL I hope he was walking back to Roy. LMFAO!!! Omg I couldn't stop laughing At that scene. I'm glad it went on commercial after that b/c iI couldn't hold it together.
You know I was happy that she was having fun in the last episode. I didn't say anythng against it. But I don't think she's happy right now. This isn't a fun happy loving relationship anymore.
don't worry, I'm just teasing you ;) It's just so odd to see people go ballistic over Ray who is essentially Felicity in a male body (if you're being objective he's just exactly that)
I called you a lot of things indirectly....I think. I wasn't talking about you here though, I'm directing that comment exclusively on twitter users that claim to represent the entire fandom and misuse the trust fans (like me) put in them by following them. If I want biased news I'll check out FOXNews (twitter is my worst enemy)
shipping is not for me, rather obviously, but I think for those who it is (see my previous post) its what gets them excited. maybe a bit too much but then I recall talking for hours about an episode of Buffy or the Xfiles, I was annoying as fuck. Now, I'm old(er) and everything is trite shit.
sometimes I miss the time when it was fun/exciting.
That's not the point, people hate Ray for shipping reasons and actually want him gone. Malcolm gets hate in terms of being a bad guy.
It's just weird....don't get me wrong: Ray is a pretty bland character. But not hateable in any shape or form. The hate thrown at him is unproportional and quite ridiculous
Oliver never said that he doesn't want her. He loves her deeply but he thinks she deserves someone better than him. He doesn't think that he can be with her and protect the city at the same time. And Felicity is sticking with Ray because at the meantime she needs someone to love her and wants to be with her and of course for the purpose of mind numbing love triangles.
the internet has sparked this shipping movement in a negative way....so yeah, I do miss reading show-themed magazines and communicating on a low-bandwith with people exclusively about a shows content not its ships
Because he didn't trusted her with the Arrow info? He had all the right to do that: 1) He doesn't know her that long 2) She does have feelings for Oliver, wich she actually agreed in his face 3) He didn't knew Oliver, who was a killer(something people seem to forget).
He said he was sorry in the end. He is a good guy and she is having fun with him. She didn't care he didn't trust her, she cared that he was risking all of Team Arrow work.
You save blind trust for the person you love. She doesn't love him, he is just a nice guy that takes her to dinner and have sex with her. She's 25 yo, it's ok for her to do that...
If only Oliver would expand the love he has for Felicity into the willingness to be partners in a relationship as well as "business", then they would be golden. That's why Felicity is with Ray. Ray treats her as an equal and trusts her with all matters personal and professional. Ray has opened himself to Felicity in a way Oliver can't or won't. I can seee it now. Ray and Felicity probably will not work out in the long run, but by then Oliver will have moved on with someone else. Why didn't the writers leave well enough alone last week? Felicity told Oliver she was happy as long as he was in her life. Stop, don't go any further because worse case scenario is Felicity and Oliver would resume their friendship and working relationship. Best case scenario is for these two to take some much needed time and space from each other to get their heads on straight and then maybe find their way back to each other. Unfortunately in this episode, Oliver and Felicity were back clashing with each other and saying things they wouldn't normally if cooler heads had prevailed.
To be honest, I think that's kind of hypocritical considering you pretty much group all of the o/f shippers and make them all seem to be terrible people when they're not. Note: Not saying you're a hypocrite, just that your actions seem hypocritical.
indeed, even back with XF, and there were "ships" (though not called that) it never got in the way of talking about the other aspects of the show. we use to deconstruct the fucking numbers on buses and what could that mean (in the show) etc... total nerds.
I am a hypocrite. That's pretty much all I usually can resort to. I'm alone when arguing against shippers, so I'm bound to eventually fall over my own comments because being ganged up on is usually a tough thing to handle (then why am I doing it you ask? Because I'm too stubborn to give in to people wanting to turn their opinion into a norm)
I don't hate Ray for shipping reasons and everyone I know doesn't hate Ray for shipping reasons. I wasn't fond of Ray before this episode because of how he was characterized. But this episode sort of made me hate him because he's such a useless character and is bringing Felicity's character down.
Which Palmer does. Look I'm not a fan of their thing, but she lied and kept stuff from him. He never did her, he was always open and trustful. And Oliver is pretty much a no go until he stops being The Mask trope.
indeed, even back with xfiles, and there were "ships" (though not called that) it never got in the way of talking about the other aspects of the show. we use to deconstruct the fucking numbers on buses and what could that mean (in the show) etc... total nerds.
Because you have a set opinion of her, a set path you want her to go down.
Ray never got the chance, he was your enemy to begin with. Always an obstacle to something you want.
If someones introduced as "the character to kill Merlyn" I'm going to initially hate him as well, why? Because humans aren't rational, we are hypocritical a-holes that can't and won't give things a chance we consider a threat.
Why does he creep you out? Because you want him to, you need something negative because deep within you will always hate what is going against your "thing"
indeed, even back with xfiles, and there were "ships" (though not called that) it never got in the way of talking about the other aspects of the show. we use to deconstruct the f*cking numbers on buses and what could that mean (in the show) etc... total nerds.
I guess what irked me was that he didn't even tell her that the suit was functioning. wtf? Like she helped the guy build the suit, he left her in his bed for a joyride in said suit, but he couldn't even tell her that the suit was functioning? That's Ray keeping stuff from Felicity. And I think the writers were just really bad at showing that Ray/Felicity are a good team.
DOUG JONES GUEST STARS AS DC COMICS’ VILLAIN DEATHBOLT — Lance (Paul Blackthorne) continues his mission to take down the Arrow (Stephen Amell) so Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) orders Oliver to keep a low profile. However, when a meta-human named Jake Simmons (guest star Doug Jones), who kills people with blasts of energy and plasma, starts terrorizing Starling City, Oliver is forced to ask Ray (Brandon Routh) for help. The unlikely duo is forced to team up to save the city.
If I give my opinion in a blunt way, shippers reign upon me If I comment sarcastically I at least manage to diffuse the situation without making unwanted enemies.
For the record: I don't hate any shippers, I hate ships. And yes, at times you too act in a hypocritical way (given your "I want more for her" comments that are basically made directly FOR Oliver to fit his type).
We're all hypocrites, some just manages to openly admit that
That's a pretty small problem. Compared to hey I've been working with a guy you think is a murderer for three years. They built a supersuit I think they're an alright team.
But it's normal. People invest in that stuff and people think they want what they imagine. This happens all the time.
Some people may watch the show just for Olicity, and that's ok. Every people has their right to watch anything and talk about it.
Fandoms, as loud as they are, are really small in reality. If Olicity happens won't be fan pandering because the show is watched 3 million people, not 200k online fans(at most). If it happens it's because it's the relationship that serves better for Oliver's journey. And it is.
I watch the show for the action first. I like Olicity too, i think it makes Oliver interesting in his journey of recovering his humanity.
Bitching about Ray is fun. Seeing people actually cry for that? Hilarious Jajaja Let them be. Let them eat cake. Fandoms are online beast, they get mad and they will riot Jajaja
I guess Felicity was put in a tight position because Felicity telling Ray about Oliver could've compromised Oliver's identity (not that Ray needed help), and Felicity wasn't in the position to tell Oliver about Ray's secret.
But yeah, that point just irked me. I guess we'll agree to disagree!
Felicity wants to be happy and to be able to be with someone who will share stuff with her, trust her and make her happy. Whose kind and caring. I'm not a fan o Raylicity but Palmer's that guy. And she's stubborn and fights for what she cares for. Thus going back to Palmer.
Well we knew this season was going to be tough for them but they ended the episode on good terms. In fact the episode did a really good job in showing how different the two dynamics are. Bottom line Oliver trusts Felicity and Ray doesn't. Oliver doesn't let emotions cloud his judgement and Ray does. Oliver is a stubborn idiot who needs to get over this identity theme very quickly because I'm getting tired. They will fight and argue and be on opposite sides but in the end of the day they are partners who trust and support each other and the most important thing. It's always good when they talk to each other even if they are fighting. They're being honest and open and that's the only way they'll be able to solve their differences. They need to find their way back to being partners and friends again and the last two episodes did just that.
The show I believe officially calls him that. At least in every thing but the episodes. Even then I think their might be one or two mentions in season 1.
He figured out three characters' identities in five minutes and built a suit that can fly and shoot hard light beams. He may be green, but he's not useless.
In all honesty she hasn't been anywhere to begin with. As a character she's still rather flat (in terms of characterization), doesen't mean she's underdeveloped just not more than others.
Ray isn't tearing her down in any shape or form, if anything she has gained a little more personality since his appearance.
The Felicity everyone praises played little helper to Oliver and wasn't more than a sidekick that blatantly loved her "man"
Now we have someone that actually talks back. That's a change I welcome, if people want to go back to Felicity "I do as Oliver says" I might have bad news for you
Why do people think that love and feelings are less important than fighting scenes and deaths? Why do people feel the need to shame others for being interested in romantic storylines? Why don't people consider the fact that maybe others are very upset and emotional about Deadshot's death so they're trying not to think about it?
Romance is important for storytelling, it serves as a motivational factor. HOWEVER on Arrow romance has been overplayed to a point it's threatening to cause an inbalance between arc and romantic sub-plot (not SUB plot, it's not feeling like one though)
I was going to say how much I loved this episode with the wedding and the Suicide Squad mission, but I didn't think it fit with the specific subject I was replying to. The flashback with Deadshot and his family added needed layers to his character, but I'm not buying PTSD was the sole reason why he destroyed his life. I think there was something fundamentally wrong with him long before he became a soldier.
Quentin's grief is turning him into what he claims he is fighting ... a vigilante. Laurel needs to tell her father exactly what has happened and what is going on with the LoA because right now the man is headed for a disaster. Laurel doesn't even need to disclose the Arrow's identity. All she would have to say is that the Ra's is framing the Arrow for the murders in an attempt to force him to join the league. Then again, I'm not sure Quentin can be reasoned with at this point.
This is all coming to a head. Quentin's out to destroy the Arrow to bring him to "justice". Ra's is out to destroy the Arrow to bring Oliver into the LoA. I have no idea what side Malcolm is going to fall on when push comes to shove. Take that back, Malcolm will do what's best for Malcolm. He will work with Team Arrow only if it benefits him. I have a feeling we are looking at a major end of the season cliffhanger with the fate of several characters up in the air.
Not really. It's how I see every show and every character. The show creates a set of characteristics and whatnot for a character and in my head I set up assumptions for said character and how I think they'd react in certain situations. I like to think that I know Felicity well by know because I've been enjoying her character for two years. If something feels off, I call it. I do that for every single character and not just Felicity. For example, Diggle staying back and letting Laurel and Roy go out into the field alone in episode 12 felt OOC because I'd have thought he'd want to back them up.
It's not always about shipping with me. Sometimes I don't understand certain characters motivations. But please, assume more things about me, I'm sure they'll be spot on.
Everyone is free to talk about what they love and what they feel like talking about at the moment. And to be fair when a show is about a man fighting for his soul, love is a very important element. Whether it's family love (Thea), romantic love (Felicity) or brotherly love (Diggle and even Roy).
See, Felicity is stubborn and fights for what she cares for. But she also has a lot of self respect. Which is why I thought she would've given Palmer a harder time regarding his choices this episode. I don't want her to give up on Palmer, but I'm sad that she didn't give him a harder time because I feel like she would've. Then again, I think we should agree to disagree on this
YES!!! This episode gave me so much life. I loved when John told Ray that he would die if he hurt Felicity. I loved when Ray found out about Oliver and confronted Felicity, that was awesome and I loved Oliver's reaction when Felicity told Oliver that Ray knew about him, I get why Oliver was mad but in reality Oliver does not get a say in who can save the city and who cant. Diggle and Lyla going on that mission was good, I do wish that Deadshot did get killed off, surprisingly I will miss him. Thank goodness Ray changed hi mind about Oliver but I have a feeling it wont be to long before he will try to take him out again. Lance needs to get over his feelings and get back to trusting the Arrow. I am waiting for the episode that Lance finds out Oliver is the Arrow cause right now he literally is the only person on this show who does not know this truth. And yes that kiss on the cheek that Felicity gave Olive was so sweet, I have know they will get together and be together and it should be soon I think. Also since Lyla has resigned from A.R.G.U.S. can she please join team Arrow, that would be awesome. Over all it was an awesome episode.
Yeah that woman who got him out of jail was from HIVE and she gave him his first assignment which was Andy. I think the cliffhanger will have something to do with HIVE/Andy's death.
His abilities have nothing to do with how useful he is to the narrative, imo. Ray is smart. I'll give you that. But that doesn't really change the fact that he hasn't brought anything substantial to the narrative this season so far.
Ray trusts her again thanks to Oliver. Also Koky Oliver is the king of letting emotions cloud his judgement. Most if the significant actions he's taken in this series in season 1, 2 and 3 are all clouded by his love for his friends and family. It's just unlike Ray he deals with then better because he has more experience.
I find it worrying :p Oliver is in such a shitty place personally that I don't really want him to mentor anyone. But once he gets his shit together, ABSOLUTELY! I need him to become like Yoda by the end of the series lmao
Diggle dies and his brother turns up alive. He becomes apart of team Arrow in season four well getting back together with Lyla and helping to raise Sara ...... just kidding.
Ray should've believed her from the start. Oliver lets emotions cloud his judgement when it comes to sacrificing his happiness for the sake of those he loves BUT he listens to reason and rational arguments. Ray on the other hand had a one track mind tonight and everyone who tried to talk to him he just attacked and threatened to expose their secret and he even hurt Roy who's done nothing wrong.
Huh. I find that for the first time this season since The Calm he's in a good place. He's happy, confident in who he is as a person, driven and at his most human. I do hope one day they bring in Connor and he and Oliver have a teacher-student relationship. (He'll already be trained but still).
I don't think he's happy. I mean, Felicity did say this episode that she wanted to be with someone who wanted to be happy. And obviously Oliver is not at that point right now. He's still hesitant to take that step and embrace Oliver Queen. At least, that's how I see it.
Connor is still too young. Isn't he like 7-9 years old? Regardless, I have a feeling that Oliver would be a protective dad who would never willingly train Connor unless Connor really wanted to. You see how he is with Laurel... I just don't think that we'll ever see that on this show unless they do a time jump.
FLOYD LAWTON BETTER NOT BE DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MASEO DON'T YOU DARE, DO NOT DARE KILL FELICITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! finally Lyla quit ARGUS, i'm so glad!!!!!!!! ARGUS is basically Checkmate in my eyes nothing more. wow Lawton went through enough crap in the war that the episode was actually a PSA for wounded soldiers damn
And to this day Roy is still lying there electrocuted. Felicity: "There has been another attack Oliver!" Oliver: "I'm on it. Tell Roy to suit uhh...oh shit.
The Malcolm stuff. He literally admitted he did that out of arrogance and a need to prove himself better than Ra's. True, but only after being stupid about it for a while. Ray as misguided as he was. Was acting on the information he had on hand, and believed a woman he loves lied to him and abetted a murderer. It's a pretty fair reaction. I clenched my fist in anger for what he did to Roy, but again he believed based on every shred if evidence that he was a killer like Oliver and he was about to attack. Look Ray may be foolish, stubborn and flawed but he has the potential, humanity and drive to be a hero. I'm sorry but I just don't get hating Ray. He's a good man.
I agree with what you're saying about Ray/Felicity/Oliver. I have no problem with Felicity being with Ray, as it helps her understand what she wants better and helps Oliver understand what he stands to lose if he doesn't get his head on straight. But about Ray: I've actually been pretty indifferent to Ray, but not because he's with Felicity. I've been indifferent (up to today's episode...sort of) because I feel like we still don't really know much about him. ALL of his interactions, with the exception of last week's and today's episodes, have been only with Felicity, which to me comes across as if the writers are using her to get us to like him because they know that most of the fandom loves Felicity. But listen, I may love Felicity and she's possibly my favorite character on the show, but how much I love her doesn't dictate how much I may like another character by association alone.
So far all they've really done is tell us that he gets along great with her, is a good romantic match for her (at the moment), and he's a genius who built a power suit to try to protect his city. Other than that, Ray Palmer comes across as bland, there is little depth to him and the fact that they've constraint his interactions to JUST Felicity has hindered him because in the end, we don't really know anything about him other how he presents himself to Felicity.
Today's episode is the first time where we are actually getting some indication of who he is outside of the lab he is always shown in; we got an idea of his concepts of right and wrong and justice. And it gives me hope that he could actually carry an entire show if they do indeed go ahead with an ATOM spin-off, because I honestly had my doubts with how they've portrayed him this season.
Besides not being with Felicity I think he's all things considered happy. Lol or as happy as he can be. Actually Connor is already being trained. In aikido, and other martial and archery by his master Jensen at Abby. He won't really need training when he appears (hopefully a flash forward) I just want it as a bonding experience.
She was good at the wedding, the little interaction with Felicity catching the bouquet--funny even charming.
Her only other scenes escalated the situation instead of doing anything to help it. She practically blackmails Ray to trying to coerce him into dropping it "Maybe he'll get his company back." And then she jumps the gun and starts yelling at her dad in the Mayor's office. There have to be other ADAs in Starling--at least one of whom has to believe in the rule of law, you know their JOB.
Just last week the dude almost said yes to Ra's' offer, that gives me doubts about how happy the dumb pine tree truly is :p (yes sometimes I like to call Oliver a dumb pine tree)
Wait, Connor is already being trained? Since when? Did they show it in the Flash? I'm so confused :p
I think she just didn't move--it's not like she went to the window (cough Laurel). It's not like she's a trained anything, it was a targeted assassination. Why would she think she'd be in danger? Or be aware of her surroundings. Plus, that viewpoint was from a different angle than the arrow that killed the Mayor as she was standing at least on the other side of the room.
The Olicity fangirls are the same ones that were Clark/Chloe fangirls from Smallville. They were convinced, determined and hell bent on believing that a relationship between the two was going to happen. We all knew it wouldn't because of canon but they seemed to think they could simply will it to happen. It didn't happen and now they're getting a second kick at the can and they're going nuts. We all know that canon will eventually get in the way again and place Oliver with Laurel but don't tell them that...they seem to forget they're watching a comic book show written and produced by comic book lovers that will bring the story narrative back in line with canon eventually. My advise is to just block out the crazy and power through it.
I actually liked that she got defensive and told Ray off. He started it when he attacked her. She was harsh when she talked to her dad and she is the reason he's mad at Oliver in the first place but he needed someone to remind him that he's not being rational and he's just looking for a reason to go after the Arrow.
Yeah then he said no because he realized his purpose as a hero and got all smiley. Well in the comics around 8 or so Connor left to train under monks. So unless the show is deviating from that when he appears, I'm assuming he's training.
He cant be dead. He has to have a big part when the HIVE guys comes to play. Excellent episode way way better than "The Offer". That histage situation and the fights and everything there was exeptional. For me one of the ebst action sequences that doesnt involve the Arrow or Olliver. Ray was too funny figthing Olliver, he need to work on that suit, Olliver disable it too fast.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
wow
ReplyDeleteOMG!! One of the best episodes of Arrow ever!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome is not enough to describe the episode. I'm so emotional right now.
ReplyDeleteCrap I missed it. How did it end???????
ReplyDeleteDig is the best. Seriously. That "if you hurt her, they'll never find your body" made me grin like no other. Also, he is forever the captain of the Olicity ship. And I'm okay with that.
ReplyDeleteWhy the FUCK did Ray's big head have to block Dig and Lyla's kiss?? NOT OKAY WITH THAT.
Yeah, we've seen it before, but they're married now!! Again...:)
I really enjoyed the Deadshot/Lawton flashbacks.
That's cold...(Just like the weather, haha...ha...)
I know I'm a sap, but I loved the Oliver/Felicity interactions and, in this case, how they added to the Felicity/Palmer relationship.
GO ARROW.
Which storyline?
ReplyDeleteThere were like 5 storylines happening at once.
ReplyDeleteSuicide Squad: The Movie comes along and they kill Deadshot the, without a question, most popular Suicide Squad character and pretty much eliminating the Suicide Squad from Arrow? Coincidence? I think not
ReplyDeleteRay v Aarrow
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think? muahahahahaha Oliver kicked his a** and it was glorious :D
ReplyDeletehate that they kowtow, or have to, the shitty DC overlords.
ReplyDeletegood lord....let me guess you opened a bottle of champaign?
ReplyDeleteThey ruined Ray and R/F in this episode. Felicity going back to Ray after he said he doesn't trust her is the most unbelievable thing. because that is SO not the Felicity who I know and love. When will this R/F thing be over so Felicity can stop being thrown under the bus for him? Because honestly, this is getting rather tiring.
ReplyDeleteCan we trade Deadshot for Ray Palmer?
No, I don't drink. And seriously I'm on cloud 9 right now so there's nothing you can say that'll upset me (although I'm very sad about Deadshot).
ReplyDeleteWait, F/R was believable at some point? Where was I when that episode aired?
ReplyDeleteArrow told the Atom that Felicity choice to be with Ray after him and Arsenal had their asses handed to them until the final moment when Arrow got the upper hand.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the build up to Felicity giving Oliver a kiss on the cheek and I'm assuming going to Ray even though he tried to kill Oliver and Roy?
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched it yet. Will I be real mad with the Felicity/Ray stuff? And did Oliver kick his a** at least?
ReplyDeleteYou'll be mad, and then not, and then mad again, and then not, and probably end up mad. But a better mad than the mad than you madly started with.
ReplyDeleteIt's CHAMPAGNE....jeez!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHE trusted her judgement and proved to her that he's a hero and a true partner and that he truly wants her to be happy even if she's not with him and convinced Ray to stop chasing him and told him that he should trust Felicity's judgement.
ReplyDeleteThey finally gave Ray Palmer some depth! It was a very much needed thing for me to take that character seriously. They adressed the fact that she is with him because he just wants to have a life, unlike some moron that is getting very repetitive.
ReplyDeleteThe episode had two hilarious thing, thou: The Arrow VS The Atom fight and Oliver leaving Roy uncounsious on the street Jajajaja
I can't watch the episode yet but did ray and Oliver come to peaceful terms? does he know Oliver is innocent?
ReplyDeleteYeah she went to him asking if she can still be his girlfriend!!!! Just another eyeroll and cringe worthy OOC mile stone in their relationship.
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteYou'll be mad but there is so much goodness it'll make up for it. And he kicked his a** six ways to Sunday :D
ReplyDeleteSo will Felicia get shot with the arrow next episode and end up in the hospital ?
ReplyDeleteThey don't know that we know they know we know hahaha
ReplyDeleteYes-ish and yes.
ReplyDeleteNope, Ray will push her away from the window. There's an archer out there and she goes right in front of the big window.. Very smart Jajajaja
ReplyDeleteThe arrow will hit Ray. He ends up in the hospital.
I liked some of it: Diggle wedding, Diggle baby, Suicide Squad. I just love Lyla.
ReplyDeleteI hated some of it: They killed Deadshot (WTF) and they write Cupid as bat shit crazy. I don't like that Quentin is back to hating the Arrow and I absolutely hated a whining Felicity and a sanctimonious, "your mouth is bigger than your abilities" Ray.
I'm back to only watching when one of the al Ghul's is on.
LOL, thanks. Well, can I fast forward those parts and episode still make sense and be enjoyable?
ReplyDeleteno, Ray is in the hospital for sure.
ReplyDeleteWho's Felicia? :P
ReplyDeleteYAY and Thank God for that. LOL
ReplyDeleteI agree that he needed that depth. I needed to hate him more haha
ReplyDelete"unlike some moron that is getting very repetitive." TRUE!!
but didn't Dig basically "quit"?
ReplyDeleteNo Lyla talked him out of it.
ReplyDeleteAgreed lol
ReplyDeleteah, thank the moon for small favors.
ReplyDeleteNo you need to watch to see the difference between the partnership between O/F and R/F. It hurts a little but it's a reminder of what a great team they are.
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode.
ReplyDeleteDyla- They are Sooo cute.
ReplyDeleteFelicity.
ReplyDeleteI loved her so much for that and when she said that she left ARGUS I cheered. That was the only thing I hated about her. They make an awesome power couple :D
ReplyDeleteWe're awful, but I can't seem to care. :)
ReplyDeleteWhy was Felicity whining this episode? If it's not Felicity it's Laurel.... This is getting old!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBrace yourself because it will and things are about to end in a huge and sad way with a new chapter set to begin with Diggle leaving team Arrow and Felicity choosing to relocated with Ray to Ivy Town or wherever well Thea aka Speedy and Malcolm aka The Emerald Archer joining the group.
ReplyDeleteOkay. I'll try at least. lol
ReplyDeleteDamn auto correct.
ReplyDeleteWe've all been there :D
ReplyDeleteGod! She's not gonna marry him! He's just a boyfriend... All those issues she has, leave them for Oliver who is the one she loves.
ReplyDeleteRight now Ray gives her what she needs: someone who wants to live a life, he's good looking, they get along, sex... a good time overall.
oh my, grammar nazi or grammar shipper? You tell me
ReplyDelete"Yay, violence" ;)
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly Laurel was actually a little likable in this episode. She had Oliver's back.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted MORE for Felicity. She deserves to have a real relationship with a guy who respects her and trusts her. And I know she'll have that with Oliver, but come on... She deserves better than Ray Palmer
ReplyDeletedon't argue with shippers
ReplyDeleteOther's may not see it that way, I did. During the Ray/Felicity and Oliver/Felicity scenes. Not all. Just enough to make me roll my eyes.
ReplyDeleteokay, pardon my asking (we are on a delay and my niece "has to know, like for real") but are Oliver and Felicity over/done and we are past the triangle stuff?
ReplyDeletedafuq? You mean: "I want her with Oliver", don't generalize unless you actually want to
ReplyDeleteDark Archer. The Emerald Archer is Oliver.
ReplyDeleteTo promote Ray's character for the stupid spinoff *rolls eyes*
ReplyDeletelol :)
ReplyDelete
ReplyDelete________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
no, just look at the cult-like following these two have here.
ReplyDeleteBefore this ship ends they`ll sacrifice a batch of newborns
I REGRET NOTHING lol
ReplyDeleteHe dared to go after my hero so he got that coming. Wear you support for our Emerald Archer with pride :D
Let me know when you do lol
ReplyDeleteWhat? The girl is having fun with Palmer... Let her! That's what she wants for a relationship and she told Oliver that when he was talking mayor bulls**t.
ReplyDeleteYour MORE is Oliver and if Ray was Oliver(who has treated her worst than Ray by being an idiot and not letting her decise for herself) what's the point? If Ray is just a bridge for Olicity(wich he is) then you must see some problems like "oh, he doesn't trust her as Oliver does"... THAT THE BLOODY POINT!
yeah, sure. That dislike comes from going after Oliver....rriiiiiight. That's the reason
ReplyDeleteI almost forgot Ray knows they love each other :D :D
ReplyDeleteWith his turn towards good Malcolm will get a new name as he is no longer 'Dark',
ReplyDeleteAhhh. Gotcha. Smh hate that thing. Lol
ReplyDeleteI love how hyperbolic shippers get over Ray, I love him more because of that
ReplyDeleteah, I was trying to glean something from the comments for her but its a bit all over the place, and a lot of projecting, so I am not quite sure what is going on in that arena.
ReplyDeleteso even, from what I can see in the comments, Oliver said he didn't want her and she is sticking with Ray but fans still have hope, yes?
he will always be the dark archer
ReplyDeleteGeez the Olicity fangirls are just as annoying as the crazy Destiel fangirls on Supernatural, lol these comments make me cringe.
ReplyDeleteNo, fans don't have hope. They have blind trust and false security in getting what they want from previous experience of the writers giving in to them
ReplyDeleteyeah, no he will always be the dark archer.
ReplyDeleteWhere have you been all my life?
ReplyDeleteNo I'd have been happy if she were with Barry this season. I'm just saying if Felicity HAD to be with someone this season, I'd have chosen Barry or even Eddie if that were a viable option.
ReplyDeleteIt's the main reason actually.
ReplyDeleteI mean, i don't like him because his character is just a fourth wheel in a love triangle and nothing more. Tonight they gave him more depth wich i liked.
ReplyDeleteHope they keep doing that. He deserves to be more than a pointless love interest.
Go for Malcolm I say, lord knows the fandom needs to hate him more. It's odd how he's less hated than Ray
ReplyDeleteThat'll never change.
ReplyDeleteHaha Hahahaha omg when Oliver started walking away, I'm like dude, go get your partner. LOL I hope he was walking back to Roy. LMFAO!!! Omg I couldn't stop laughing At that scene. I'm glad it went on commercial after that b/c iI couldn't hold it together.
ReplyDeleteI hate Malcolm so much tho D:
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't care much about him but he gets the reactions out of hypocrites the way I thought he would. I love to be proven right
ReplyDeleteYou know I was happy that she was having fun in the last episode. I didn't say anythng against it. But I don't think she's happy right now. This isn't a fun happy loving relationship anymore.
ReplyDeleteHaha good to know someone on this site feels the same way.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I'm glad they're finally exploring his character and giving his presence more a point than simply a foil to Oliver and Felicity.
ReplyDeleteDid you just indirectly call me a hypocrite? Mac do you really want to go down this road with me?
ReplyDeletedon't worry, I'm just teasing you ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's just so odd to see people go ballistic over Ray who is essentially Felicity in a male body (if you're being objective he's just exactly that)
I said a little. Don't get me wrong I still hate her but I have to give credit when credit is due lol
ReplyDeleteI love most people here but Olicity brings out the worst in all of us (even me, I irrationally hate this ship at this point)
ReplyDeleteI feel like I want to skip this episode.
ReplyDeleteI guess she will be happy that its whatever it is.
Not even close. We're just starting :D
ReplyDeleteI called you a lot of things indirectly....I think. I wasn't talking about you here though, I'm directing that comment exclusively on twitter users that claim to represent the entire fandom and misuse the trust fans (like me) put in them by following them. If I want biased news I'll check out FOXNews (twitter is my worst enemy)
ReplyDelete"We're just starting" is that a challenge?
ReplyDeleteshipping is not for me, rather obviously, but I think for those who it is (see my previous post) its what gets them excited. maybe a bit too much but then I recall talking for hours about an episode of Buffy or the Xfiles, I was annoying as fuck. Now, I'm old(er) and everything is trite shit.
ReplyDeletesometimes I miss the time when it was fun/exciting.
That's not the point, people hate Ray for shipping reasons and actually want him gone. Malcolm gets hate in terms of being a bad guy.
ReplyDeleteIt's just weird....don't get me wrong: Ray is a pretty bland character.
ReplyDeleteisn't that shitty Black Eyed Peas song?
ReplyDeleteWho exactly am I challenging?
ReplyDeletei'm guessing that is more opinion/hope or what was spelled out in the episode?
ReplyDeletethe internet has sparked this shipping movement in a negative way....so yeah, I do miss reading show-themed magazines and communicating on a low-bandwith with people exclusively about a shows content not its ships
ReplyDeleteNo it's coming from years of watching love triangles on the CW.
ReplyDeleteBecause he didn't trusted her with the Arrow info? He had all the right to do that: 1) He doesn't know her that long 2) She does have feelings for Oliver, wich she actually agreed in his face 3) He didn't knew Oliver, who was a killer(something people seem to forget).
ReplyDeleteHe said he was sorry in the end.
Anti-shippers....so probably that's only me
ReplyDeleteIf only Oliver would expand the love he has for Felicity into the willingness to be partners in a relationship as well as "business", then they would be golden.
ReplyDeleteMalcolm isn't going good. And Felicity is never leaving. And Malcolm is NOT the Emerald Archer. That title belongs to the future Green Arrow.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhen I said "we" I meant the Olicity story is just getting started. I didn't mean we shippers are just starting our comments wave.
ReplyDelete*cries* WHY, WHY are the biggest questions people ask after an episode about romantic interaction and being ready to embrace ones feelings?
ReplyDeleteWhy aren't people talking about Deadshot, fights or whatever....
To be honest, I think that's kind of hypocritical considering you pretty much group all of the o/f shippers and make them all seem to be terrible people when they're not. Note: Not saying you're a hypocrite, just that your actions seem hypocritical.
ReplyDeleteindeed, even back with XF, and there were "ships" (though not called that) it never got in the way of talking about the other aspects of the show. we use to deconstruct the fucking numbers on buses and what could that mean (in the show) etc... total nerds.
ReplyDeleteWe should start call him the magician, Dark Archer hasn't even been used on the show
ReplyDeleteNo he's not. Felicity doesn't creep me out.
ReplyDeleteHow is that not Felicity? I agree the hook-up was out of nowhere but her staying with Palmer really isn't OOC.
ReplyDeleteI am a hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteI don't hate Ray for shipping reasons and everyone I know doesn't hate Ray for shipping reasons. I wasn't fond of Ray before this episode because of how he was characterized. But this episode sort of made me hate him because he's such a useless character and is bringing Felicity's character down.
ReplyDeletewell at least you know what you're doing :p
ReplyDeleteWhich Palmer does. Look I'm not a fan of their thing, but she lied and kept stuff from him. He never did her, he was always open and trustful. And Oliver is pretty much a no go until he stops being The Mask trope.
ReplyDeleteindeed, even back with xfiles, and there were "ships" (though not called
ReplyDeletethat) it never got in the way of talking about the other aspects of the
show. we use to deconstruct the fucking numbers on buses and what could
that mean (in the show) etc... total nerds.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
ReplyDeleteBecause you have a set opinion of her, a set path you want her to go down.
ReplyDeleteRay never got the chance, he was your enemy to begin with.
I wish he would be. His name is Merlyn for f*ck's sake. (wrong spelling but still.)
ReplyDeleteindeed, even back with xfiles, and there were "ships" (though not called
ReplyDeletethat) it never got in the way of talking about the other aspects of the
show. we use to deconstruct the f*cking numbers on buses and what could
that mean (in the show) etc... total nerds.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Could you elaborate? I guess we have different ideas of what Felicity's like in our minds?
ReplyDeleteARROW - “Broken Arrow”
ReplyDeleteDOUG JONES GUEST STARS AS DC COMICS’ VILLAIN DEATHBOLT — Lance (Paul Blackthorne) continues his mission to take down the Arrow (Stephen Amell) so Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) orders Oliver to keep a low profile. However, when a meta-human named Jake Simmons (guest star Doug Jones), who kills people with blasts of energy and plasma, starts terrorizing Starling City, Oliver is forced to ask Ray (Brandon Routh) for help. The unlikely duo is forced to team up to save the city.
Of course, what have I been reduced to?`
ReplyDeleteIf I give my opinion in a blunt way, shippers reign upon me
If I comment sarcastically I at least manage to diffuse the situation without making unwanted enemies.
For the record: I don't hate any shippers, I hate ships. And yes, at times you too act in a hypocritical way (given your "I want more for her" comments that are basically made directly FOR Oliver to fit his type).
We're all hypocrites, some just manages to openly admit that
I guess we'll agree to disagree :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty small problem. Compared to hey I've been working with a guy you think is a murderer for three years. They built a supersuit I think they're an alright team.
ReplyDeletewhy did the fandom start calling him Dark Archer anyway? Any promo suggest that?
ReplyDeleteNo they're not over. And there's no triangle. Hope your nieceis happy now.
ReplyDeleteBut it's normal. People invest in that stuff and people think they want what they imagine. This happens all the time.
ReplyDeleteSome people may watch the show just for Olicity, and that's ok.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, that point just irked me. I guess we'll agree to disagree!
Felicity isn't someone that gives up completely on a person after one fight, she didn't do as you wanted her. Doesen't turn her OOC.
ReplyDeleteShe acted against your hopes, not her character
Felicity wants to be happy and to be able to be with someone who will share stuff with her, trust her and make her happy. Whose kind and caring. I'm not a fan o Raylicity but Palmer's that guy. And she's stubborn and fights for what she cares for. Thus going back to Palmer.
ReplyDeleteWell we knew this season was going to be tough for them but they ended the episode on good terms.
ReplyDeleteYep, and that's ok. It's what makes talking about the show interesting. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to feel like the only person who doesn't ship Olicity.
ReplyDeleteThe show I believe officially calls him that. At least in every thing but the episodes. Even then I think their might be one or two mentions in season 1.
ReplyDeleteyou're not the only person but we're a small group of fans that watch the show....for the show and not a ship
ReplyDeleteHe figured out three characters' identities in five minutes and built a suit that can fly and shoot hard light beams. He may be green, but he's not useless.
ReplyDeleteyou are not alone, I don't care that happens or not, I am just not looking for it consume the show. I just like the Green Arrow character.
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty she hasn't been anywhere to begin with. As a character she's still rather flat (in terms of characterization), doesen't mean she's underdeveloped just not more than others.
ReplyDeleteRay isn't tearing her down in any shape or form, if anything she has gained a little more personality since his appearance.
The Felicity everyone praises played little helper to Oliver and wasn't more than a sidekick that blatantly loved her "man"
Now we have someone that actually talks back. That's a change I welcome, if people want to go back to Felicity "I do as Oliver says" I might have bad news for you
(claps). Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhy do people think that love and feelings are less important than fighting scenes and deaths? Why do people feel the need to shame others for being interested in romantic storylines? Why don't people consider the fact that maybe others are very upset and emotional about Deadshot's death so they're trying not to think about it?
ReplyDeleteSee? That's exactly thee kind of comment I told you earlier that I won't let upset me. So that's me going back to my cloud 9.
ReplyDeleteNo but it's ALL people talk about.
ReplyDeleteRomance is important for storytelling, it serves as a motivational factor.
ReplyDeleteQuentin's grief is turning him into what he claims he is fighting ... a vigilante.
I have a feeling we are looking at a major end of the season cliffhanger with the fate of several characters up in the air.
lol, that was actually ment as a positive comment your way :)
ReplyDeleteIt goes hand in hand with: we're all terrible, let's just accept that and love/hate each other
Lets just hope she doesn't live to regret it if Diggle is the one to die in 3x19.
ReplyDeleteNot really.
ReplyDeleteIt's not always about shipping with me.
ReplyDeleteYou're not. The whole shipping thing is ruining shows for me, I try to ignore it, but it's hard to escape from it.
ReplyDeleteThat's what positive means to you? hahahaha
ReplyDeleteIn that case, thanks, I guess lol
Didn't they use it in the first season?
ReplyDeleteSee, Felicity is stubborn and fights for what she cares for. But she also has a lot of self respect. Which is why I thought she would've given Palmer a harder time regarding his choices this episode. I don't want her to give up on Palmer, but I'm sad that she didn't give him a harder time because I feel like she would've. Then again, I think we should agree to disagree on this
ReplyDeleteHe's not. He's filming episode 21 at the moment. And he has a big Hive storyline coming up not to mention that Dig is too important to the show.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. On a unrelated not, due you find it cool that Oliver's like a mentor to other heroes?
ReplyDeleteOK hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteisn't HIVE a season 5 plot line for Dig?
ReplyDeleteYES!!!
ReplyDeleteYes but they said we'll get another hint about HIVE later this season.
ReplyDeletedidn't we get in this ep when it was mentioned by I think deadshot?
ReplyDeleteThe best line in the episode
ReplyDeleteRay: "Arrow!"
Oliver: "Supersuit!"
hahahaha welcome back Snarky Oliver :D
I know, right! Funny Arrow is back Jajajaja It will end next week, thou... but they were a good 2 funny episodes we had xD
ReplyDeleteYeah that woman who got him out of jail was from HIVE and she gave him his first assignment which was Andy. I think the cliffhanger will have something to do with HIVE/Andy's death.
ReplyDeleteYou just had to kill the moment lol
ReplyDeleteLoved everything about this episode except Ray Palmer The Atom does not belong on that show how ridicoulus does he look Send him away ASAP
ReplyDeleteHis abilities have nothing to do with how useful he is to the narrative, imo. Ray is smart. I'll give you that. But that doesn't really change the fact that he hasn't brought anything substantial to the narrative this season so far.
ReplyDeleteI still really feel you're exaggerating the ratio of romance to non-romance in Arrow.
ReplyDeleteI loved that.
ReplyDeleteRay trusts her again thanks to Oliver. Also Koky Oliver is the king of letting emotions cloud his judgement. Most if the significant actions he's taken in this series in season 1, 2 and 3 are all clouded by his love for his friends and family. It's just unlike Ray he deals with then better because he has more experience.
ReplyDeleteI find it worrying :p Oliver is in such a shitty place personally that I don't really want him to mentor anyone. But once he gets his shit together, ABSOLUTELY! I need him to become like Yoda by the end of the series lmao
ReplyDeleteDiggle dies and his brother turns up alive. He becomes apart of team Arrow in season four well getting back together with Lyla and helping to raise Sara ...... just kidding.
ReplyDelete; )
ReplyDeleteRay should've believed her from the start.
ReplyDeleteOliver lets emotions cloud his judgement when it comes to sacrificing his happiness for the sake of those he loves BUT he listens to reason and rational arguments.
ReplyDeleteThought you meant usefulness as a character. Well he will be. But yeah I admit to not liking his weird separation.
ReplyDeleteI don't think he's happy. I mean, Felicity did say this episode that she wanted to be with someone who wanted to be happy. And obviously Oliver is not at that point right now. He's still hesitant to take that step and embrace Oliver Queen. At least, that's how I see it.
ReplyDeleteConnor is still too young.
ReplyDeleteAnd to this day Roy is still lying there electrocuted.
ReplyDeleteFelicity: "There has been another attack Oliver!"
Oliver: "I'm on it.
ReplyDeleteOliver was really funny this episode.
ReplyDeleteno he's never been called The Dark Archer, i would love to hear "Merlyn The Magician" though. We've heard magician and Merlyn but not as a moniker
ReplyDeleteI agree with what you're saying about Ray/Felicity/Oliver.
ReplyDeleteSo far all they've really done is tell us that he gets along great with her, is a good romantic match for her (at the moment), and he's a genius who built a power suit to try to protect his city.
ReplyDeleteShe was good at the wedding, the little interaction with Felicity catching the bouquet--funny even charming.
ReplyDeleteHer only other scenes escalated the situation instead of doing anything to help it.
ReplyDeleteWait, Connor is already being trained? Since when? Did they show it in the Flash? I'm so confused :p
Deadshot is so not dead.
ReplyDeleteAnd did Arrow just leave Arsenal lying on the ground? Lol.
But the episode was pretty spectacular. Loved the Deadshot flashbacks and another reference to H.I.V.E.
ReplyDeleteThe Olicity fangirls are the same ones that were Clark/Chloe fangirls from Smallville.
ReplyDeleteI actually liked that she got defensive and told Ray off. He started it when he attacked her. She was harsh when she talked to her dad and she is the reason he's mad at Oliver in the first place but he needed someone to remind him that he's not being rational and he's just looking for a reason to go after the Arrow.
ReplyDeleteThe apparent death of Arsenal was one, lmao.
ReplyDeleteYeah then he said no because he realized his purpose as a hero and got all smiley. Well in the comics around 8 or so Connor left to train under monks. So unless the show is deviating from that when he appears, I'm assuming he's training.
ReplyDeleteHe cant be dead. He has to have a big part when the HIVE guys comes to play.
ReplyDeleteExcellent episode way way better than "The Offer".
That histage situation and the fights and everything there was exeptional. For me one of the ebst action sequences that doesnt involve the Arrow or Olliver.
Ray was too funny figthing Olliver, he need to work on that suit, Olliver disable it too fast.
Yeah and that scene between him and Diggle before the wedding was funny and cute.
