    Klaus is a bastard. He STILL doesn't know or understand the concept of family. All he knows is betrayal, murder, mayhem and a desire to love Hope. But plotting to kill Jackson? That's not jealously, that's some Game of Thrones type shit right there!

    Wait a minute. Something like this happened roughly in the middle of last season. Some people got excited and others were apprehensive because Klaus was hell bent on killing Rebekah over something stupid.
    Elijah got in his way, but ultimately Klaus stopped himself, which I think he was about to do the last time he wanted to kill Jackson. Right before Hayley showed up, I remember Jackson saying something touching, and Klaus looked like he was hesitating. Klaus knows that Jackson isn't a threat to Hope. He's just losing control of his hybrid aggression and possessiveness again. Also, it's not time to kill off Jackson because he has a backstory that they're going to show in flashbacks, and I imagine the things he did to survive Marcel make him far from boring. There wouldn't be a reason for flashbacks of Jackson after he's dead...unless something in the flashbacks is the real reason Klaus wants to kill him. I've suspected for a while now that what Jackson held back from Hayley was an alliance or past association that would make both Hayley and Klaus distrust Jackson. I could be wrong.

    I'm hoping that they're putting this drivel in the promo, because they don't want to spoil the real action. Freya, Finn, Kol, Beks.

    It's obvious Klaus isn't going to kill Jackson (yet) so why they keep playing up this angle is beyond me.

    I am thinking that the writers are throwing us off in this promo..I don't think Klaus is gonna end the wedding...but rather Freya is gonna to be the one to stop this merger....he goal is to get Hope and the last thing she wants is a hybrid army protecting Hope...She may be the one to actually kill Jackson....and next weeks promo pictures could be Klaus fighting her in the cemetery....and the pictures of her looking at a body in a morgue.....it looks like it is Vincent.....I imagine Freya in gonna die and Davina will be the next in line witch with the strongest power to take over the New Orleans Coven...

    I think you're right. Klaus is too pleased with himself in the promo. He's usually more focused when he's plotting like that and he has been very manipulative and secretive lately. He appears to be trusting Kol, but I'm not sure that's the case. I think he's just comforting Kol because he knows (or at least he believes) that Kol doesn't have a chance of surviving. It would take a serious Hail Mary miracle to break Kol's hex, but if that does happen, Klaus will be up a creek because he gave Kol the white oak stake. I hope Kol survives, but I also hope that whatever saves him isn't any kind of plot hole. It should be something that wasn't available when Kieran was hexed. If Kol survives, he has to change, or someone or something else has to change. Kol's selfishness and whining about being left out has gotten very old.

    I think Klaus will have to fight Freya eventually, and she will be out for blood after we see a touching scene where she says goodbye to Finn. I think Finn was the only brother she was close to because he was the only brother she knew, and it looks like she doesn't want to bother getting to know her other brothers. Spoilers indicate that Davina will realize that the witches need her at some point and she will step up. Her relationship with Kol will end by the time this happens. It might happen when Freya is gone, or it might happen as a result of all of the body-jumping and what it does to the witches who are being forced out of their bodies.

    Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that Elijah is going to be at the wedding? Sure he needs to be there as a plot point to stop Klaus from killing Jackson, but he recently slept with the bride. I've never been in this kind of situation before, but it seems strange to me that Elijah isn't making himself scarce if he really doesn't want to ruin the wedding.

    There aren't enough of them to do that. The most popular TO ship is Klaus/Hayley and not even THOSE folks can hold a candle to TVD juggernaut ships.

    Don't listen to Sarah. She doesn't know sh*t. This show actually doesn't have much of a ship fanbase to speak of. Its social media presence wrt shipping (and everything else) is laughable compared to its parent show's. Most viewers haven't latched to any of the leading ladies, hence no ship has caughton.


    They keep playing up this angle because both Narducci and MacKenzie really like Nathan Parsons and the werewolf storyline. They want viewers to feel like Jackson is relevant and they're trying (and failing) this by big-ing him up through Klaus.


    That's really all there is to it.

    I don't think getting "some" is really a problem for someone who looks and sounds like Klaus. And even if it was, he'd just compel them.

    If you can stab a woman, bite her twice, or kill a bunch of chick's "sisters" and threaten her constantly and still get her into bed, "Game" ain't really your problem.

    Yes, it got renewed for a third season, No, the ratings aren't good. Standard CW mediocrity and it seems to be in decline.


    Latest episode got a 0.5 in the demo and was beaten by Jane the Virgin for the first time.

    I think they need to bring Hope back and really delve into how she came into being. Explain a bit more....rather then slowly bringing bits of the story together....it seems like they have no clue as to what is coming next....like there is no plan.....

    I actually don't mind the actor, I just loathe his "folksy, aww shucks I'm in love" storyline. I don't care about the wolves plotline at all, every time they cut to a shot of these bayou dwelling "simple folk" (especially the children) I wanna scream.


    If they had sense they would have had Jackson (no relation) be on his own. A lone wolf with a connection to Haley (possibly murderer of her parents) whose intentions are unclear. Keep up the mystique they created on TVD that wolves are rare. Have Haley be drawn to him because there are so few of their kind. Ditch all the other mutts, magical wedding, protect our baby nonsense.

    I am not sure if Elijah would ever let Klaus kill Jackson. I dont know I for one dont know if I can watch this wedding. I wished that Elijah and Haley would at least talk or if he would tell her how he feels but that can wait until later. And then there is a hiatus. Elijah and Hope are so cute. And Elijah he cooks, does dishes and fixes things. Thought last night episode was good.

    I guess I can understand sort of where you are coming from. Still cant stand Jackson and I dont trust him and I guess you know I am not a fan of Jackson and Haley and dont know if I can watch this wedding. Haley is part of the family. It seems that Klaus does not want anyone in his family to be happy- that is why Elijah is always sacrifycing his happiness which makes me mad. I dont see Elijah killing Jackson either and I wished Haley and Elijah would talk but that might be to much to ask

    I think there are a lot of ships on this show. I have been a Elijah and Haley fan since day one and not a Kaley fan. There are a lot of Haley and Elijah fans and its a new ship.     This is very interesting, I guess the argument Klaus and Elijah are having is about Jackson. Haley is crying and looking the mirror- thinking about Elijah. I would just wish they would talk. I dont know if I can watch this wedding. If this wedding happens what will happen next I dont think Klaus will let Hope live in the bayou. I dont like Jackson and have not been a fan of this storyline but I dont know if he will get killed maybe the end of the season, I still dont trust him. I know a lot of people feel sorry for him but not me. I dont think Klaus wants anyone happy. I surprised that Elijah does not want Klaus to kill Jackson but I think his main concern is Haley. And I still fear for Hope. She is the cutest

    I can see Kol protecting Hope, unless the writers have other plans for him. Kol is a little unpredictable because he tends to put himself first. It's hard to say if he would put a baby in danger if his own life was at risk.

    I wondered myself if Freya might actually be Dahlia, and it looks like we're not the only ones asking that question. Now I'm not so sure. Freya could have made a deal with Dahlia so that Freya gets to live for a year every 100 years as long as she cooperates with Dahlia. It doesn't look like any of the other Mikaelson first-borns were so lucky.

    I like your idea for Jackson much better than what they're actually doing with the character, but unless I'm reading the show wrong, one of the main reasons behind the wolves storyline is to sell Hayley as this leader/selfless queen type. So that's why all the helpless bayou dwelling simple folk in need of rescuing are there.

    I agree. And Elijah does care for Haley and I do wish that Elijah would not always consider Klaus feelings- he can take care of himself. Just like the preview where Klaus says that Elijah needs to focus on the family that is all Elijah has done.
